Balbharti- Paud Fata Road |  Balbharti-paud Fata Road has been proposed by Pune Municipal Corporation to break the traffic jam on Senapati Bapat Road and Law College Road.  It is being alleged that this road is being built for builders.  An explanation has now been given by the Pune Municipal Administration (Pune civic body).  Actually, it was said by the municipal corporation that no junction road can be provided for this 1.7 km road.  (Balbharti-Paud Fata Road)

 According to the information provided by the municipal administration, it is being alleged that this road is being constructed for survey number 44.  This road is almost 25 feet high (elevated) in half of that S. No. 44.  The municipal administration has clarified that there is no ramp anywhere on this elevated road.  Also in the remaining areas where the road joins the Poud road.  The administration has clarified that there is a rugged part of the mountain and it is not possible to add it to this survey number anywhere.  (PMC Pune)

 Earlier it was said that a large amount of trees would be cut for this road.  After that, after the Municipal Corporation disclosed this matter, now it is being alleged that this road is being made for the builders.  When the municipal administration was asked about this, the administration clarified that there is no access road anywhere on this road.  (Pune Municipal Corporation News)

 This proposed municipal road is 1.7 km long.  700 meters of the road is above ground and from opposite Balbharati to Kanchan Galli on the side of Vidhi Vidhya Vidyalaya Road, this road will be above ground and from Kanchan Galli it will be elevated and it will be directly in more than half of survey number 44.  It is going to be 25 feet).  After that, this road will be downhill on the side of Poud road and this part will be on a steep slope of the hill and the road will be on a rough road.  Therefore, it was clarified from the administrative sources that it will not be connected to the SRA project site which has reservation of any builder or municipal corporation in this area.  (PMC Pune Road Department)

 It is said that this road is referring to survey number 44.  There is a separate road leading to that Survey No. 44 along the Fish Market side of Poud Street.  Apart from this, there is a separate road from the Poud Fata split and also a separate road from the ARAI road.  Since the Balbharati Poud road is already high, the administration is clarifying that it is not possible to provide another road from there.
