Daund MLA Rahul Kul | Daund MLA Rahul Kul asked the Pune Collector to immediately stop the waste water released in the Khadakwasla New Mutha River Right canal from the Pune Municipal Corporation. MLA Kul has given a letter to the Collector in this regard.
What has MLA Rahul Kul said in the letter?
According to MLA Kul’s letter, the Pune Municipal Corporation has discharged the toxic contaminated sewage of the Pune Municipal Corporation into the Naveen Mutha Canal in Vaiduvadi (Hadapsar) area without any treatment. The water supply scheme of municipalities and various villages in Haveli, Daund and Indapur talukas as well as agriculture also depend on the water of this canal. Direct discharge of toxic contaminated sewage is a serious issue. This polluted water is affecting the health of the citizens and the crops of the farmers.
