PMC property tax department started the survey of properties in the Pune city!

 

Pune Property Survey – (The Karbhari News Service) – Pune Municipal Corporation’s Property Tax Department (PMC Property tax Department) has started efforts from the beginning to maximize recovery in the current financial year. As a part of the same, the department has started a survey of properties in the city (Pune Property Survey). A recent meeting with the Peth Inspector has been given to him. The property tax department has earned an income of 2273 crores in the last financial year. In the current year, the department has set a target of earning 3200 crores in revenue. Accordingly, the department has already started efforts.

Jagtap said that he had a meeting with Peth Inspector (SI) recently. In this he was informed that a survey should be done of all incomes in the city. Each inspector aims to conduct 25 properties surveys in a week. It involves registering the property if it is not registered, collecting property tax, removing duplicate names, filing PT3 application, etc. It has been started from today itself. Jagtap said that this will increase the revenue of the municipal corporation. Properties will also be taxed.
