12 Harsh Trusth about Life every Man should know

1. No one is coming to save you
The day you realize this is the day your freedom starts.
Not a person. Not the government. You will be guided sometimes but you have to make the efforts of moving for yourself.
You will have to do it on your own.
2. Adulthood isn’t about a number
There are 40-year-old boys and 20-year-old men.
Whether you are an adult or not, is dependent on your attitude towards life.
Internalize this. You will grow quicker.
3. You aren’t entitled to anything
Nothing is given to you.
You don’t deserve wealth or happiness, just because you are born. You will have to earn it.
Work hard for them.
4. Nothing good ever comes easy
Work hard for what you want.
Don’t expect the good things in life to come without a grafting effort.
Nothing sweet ever tastes as good without the bitter.
You need contrast.
5. Humility will serve you
No one likes a cocky guy.
You should work on your confidence, but never come across as arrogant. Be humble. Flex through your actions, not your words.
Do great things without bragging.
6. Embrace your masculinity
As a man, you should be proud of what you are.
The chance you are born a male is literally 50/50.
You have your traits for a reason. Make sure you put them to use.
7. Stop explaining yourself
You don’t need to explain yourself to people. Choose your actions.
You owe nothing to anyone. Don’t go through life apologizing for everything you do.
Live ruthlessly unapologetic.
8. Life is about giving, not taking
You want to be Happier? Take less, Give more.
True happiness is found by giving.
This will fulfil you.
9. Face your challenges (or they will face you)
To crush life, you must conquer your challenges.
By picking them out, you choose your struggle.
If you don’t, life will do it for you. The struggle is inevitable.
Better be picky.
10. Patience is a must
Nothing good will ever come quick, nor easy.
Putting in 1% each day will accumulate over time. Don’t sit around waiting.
Be there to actually witness the fruits of your work.
11. Procrastination is your biggest enemy
Your happiness, your progress, your success.
They will all suffer massively if you constantly put off the work. Learn to become disciplined.
Stagnation = Decline.
12. Your urges are your second biggest enemy
Besides what society wants you to believe, the best things in life are not:
• Binge drinking
• Casual sex
• Gorging food.
They will make your life worse if you aren’t careful. Instead, BUILD something worth living for.

Whether you are doing government job or private! |  Remember these 15 things

1. Be loyal to yourself and believe in your work. Don’t be loyal to your boss. Hanging around your boss will alienate you from your colleagues and your boss will finally dump you.
2. Go home. Don’t stick at work beyond office hours. You are not the pillar of your department.  If you drop dead today, you will be replaced immediately and operations will continue.
3. Don’t chase promotion. Master your skills and be excellent at what you do. If they want to promote you, that’s fine. If they don’t, it is their loss.
4. Avoid office gossip. Avoid politics. Don’t join the bandwagon that backbites your boss. Don’t celebrate when a colleague is punished or fired. Stay away from negative gatherings.
5. Don’t compete with your boss, you will burn your fingers. Don’t compete with your colleagues, you will fry your brain.
6. Don’t have love affairs with your colleagues, you will collide with your boss or lose productivity. Your romance will end badly and bitterly.
7. Start a side business. Your salary will not sustain your needs in the long run. Use your office networks to build your side business. Keep your business private.
8. Save your money or invest. Let the stock, mutual fund deduct automatically from your payslip.
9. Borrow a loan to invest in a business, not buy a car or build a house. Build your house with the profit you get from your investments.
10. Expand your skills portfolio.  When you go back to school, go horizontal, not vertical. E.g if you are a civil engineer don’t go for civil engineering, go for project management or public policy.
11. Rent a house. Don’t live in a Government house. This comfort is dangerous.  A Government house is not your house.
12. Join the office welfare and be an active member. It will help you a lot. Join your trade union. They will protect you. Join your professional society. Networks are vital.
13. Keep your life, marriage and family private.  Let them stay away from your office. Keep your payslip away from your wife. This is important.
14. Stay quiet in the office Whatsapp group. Talk when asked a question or a comment. No matter how heated the arguments are in the office Whatsapp, just keep off.
15. Retire early. The best time to plan for your exit was when you received the employment letter. The other best time is today. Exit early. – By 40 -45 Years, be out.
