Black Spots in Pune City |  Pune Police has identified 21 accident spots (black spots) where frequent accidents occur in Pune city.  The order has been given by the Pune Police to the Pune Municipal Corporation to take measures and improve it.

 According to the order of the police, within the limits of Pune City Police Commissionerate during the period from 2020 to 2022, 21 accident sites (Black Sports) where a total of 5 fatal or serious accidents or a total of 10 persons (including 1 or more accidents) have been killed in an area of ​​500 meters in the last 3 consecutive years  Branch Pune City (Traffic Police Pune City) has been newly confirmed.  The concerned blackspot places should be inspected and improvements/remedial measures should be taken to avoid accidents at those places.  Also, this order says to send us a report about the improvements / measures taken at the black spot.
