PMC Property Tax Lottery |  Pune Municipal Corporation has launched a Property Tax Lottery Scheme for property tax holders.  The Municipal Corporation has taken an innovative step to encourage timely payment of property tax arrears.  The Corporation has introduced a lottery scheme applicable to residential, non-residential and open plot taxpayers paying property tax between 15 May and 31 July 2023.  Attractive prizes ranging from cars to bikes, laptops and phones will be given in this.  (PMC Property Tax Lottery)

  To encourage timely payment, PMC has introduced a lottery scheme along with the existing 5% to 10% concessions for prompt property tax settlement.  The objective of the initiative is to encourage tax payers to pay property tax and ensure timely revenue collection for the Municipal Corporation.  (PMC Pune News)

  Apart from the lottery scheme, the PMC has taken strict action against tax defaulters.  In the last two weeks, the municipality has launched a drive to seal commercial properties, resulting in the seizure of 120 properties worth Rs 2.5 crore.  This aggressive approach is aimed at enforcing tax compliance and creating a fair environment for all taxpayers.  (Pune Municipal Corporation News)
