PMC Property Tax |  For the recovery of Pune Property Tax Due, the Pune Municipal Corporation Property Tax Department has started playing a band from today (February 26).  1 crore 58 lakhs has been recovered through the band on the first day itself.  1968 crore rupees have accumulated in the coffers of the municipal corporation due to property tax.  This information was given by Madhav Jagtap, Deputy Commissioner of Taxation and Tax Collection Department.  (Pune Property Tax)

 Taxation and tax collection department is an important source of income in Pune Municipal Corporation.  In line with the achievement of the target given to the department for the financial year 2023-24, an intense campaign for recovery of arrears, seizure of income and collection by the Taxation and Tax Collection Office has been started from February 21.  (Pune PMC News)

 Accordingly, 2956 properties were visited during the period from 24th to 26th February.  Tax has been recovered from many property earners.  As many as 30 incomes have been seized in these three days due to non-payment of taxes.

 During the course of action, income tax amounting to 9 crore 25 lakhs was recovered in the above mentioned three days.

 For recovery of arrears of property tax from the income holder’s account, the band has started playing at the field office level from today.  A notice warrant was issued on February 26

 The number of properties is 1200, and the total payment amount of one day today is 8 crore 45 lakhs.  1 Crore 58 Lakhs received under Band Squad.

 Assets on which property tax has not been recovered will be auctioned after fulfilling all the provisions of the law regarding recovery of arrears of income tax and giving maximum opportunity to the owner of the property.

 Tax to the property earners by keeping civic amenities center open even on all holidays till March 31

 A facility has been made that can be filled.  For this, all civic amenities centers are open on all government holidays and every Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and on Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  However, citizens should take note of this.  This appeal has been made by the Income Tax Department.

 Although the civic facilities will continue to function, citizens will mostly use the online system Property tax payment is appealed through the website “propertytax.punecorporation.org“.
