Bhumi Pujan of Memorial of Aadya KrantiGuru Lahuji Vastad Salve at the hands of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Pune – (The Karbhari News Service) –  Chief Minister Mr Eknath Shinde today performed the Bhumi Pujan of the memorial of Aadya KrantiGuru Lahuji Vastad Salve and inaugurated the developmental works under the town planning projects in Urli Devachi. The Chief Minister asserted that the memorial of Aadya KrantiGuru Lahuji Vastad Salve, who has made significant contributions in the struggle for independence, will definitely be giving energy to the new generation.

The program organized at Sangamwadi was also graced by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister and guardian minister of the district Ajit Pawar, higher and technical education minister Chandrakant Dada Patil and other dignitaries.

Speaking further the Chief Minister said that Aadya Kranti Guru Lahuji Vastad Salve is taking ahead the Legacy of the bravery and prowess of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and it is a matter of joy that his grand Memorial is being erected. He further said that the state government is marching ahead with the ideal of Aadya Kranti Guru Lahuji Vastad and is working for common people adding that many projects related to common people of the state were inaugurated today. He also said that the Matang community is honest and hard- working and they live by their words.

He said that ‘Arti’ has been established on the lines of ‘Barti’ for giving justice to the common people. Because of this, the children of the Matang community will now get higher education. He said that in this era of competition, the people of this community will participate in the development work and the government is committed to it.

Mr Eknath Shinde further said that in the recently tabled budget of the state government, provision has been made for the preservation and conservation of forts of the state and the memorials of great personalities. He said that the objective is that the new generation should get inspiration from the work of these great souls and their sacrifices. He said that the memorial of Savitribai Phule is also being erected in Bhidewada

The Chief Minister said that the DandPatta in the hands of Lahuji Vastad has been given the status of ‘State weapon’. He said that the Aadya KrantiGuru Lahuji Vastad Salve Memorial will definitely be inspiring the new generation in Matang community and it will see them climbing up on key posts, the chief minister added.
