Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurates the online Admissions Regulating Authority Module

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil today jointly inaugurated the online Admissions Regulating Authority module in Mantralaya. This module is prepared by the State Common Admission Entrance Examination Cell and Admissions Regulating Authority.

On this occasion Chief Secretary Manoj Saunik, Principal Secretary of Higher and Technical Education Vikaschandra Rastogi, Commissioner of State Common Admission Entrance Examination Cell Mahendra Warbhuvan, Secretary of General Administration Department Sumant Bhange, Secretary of Textile Department Virendra Singh, Principal Secretary of Industry Department Dr. Harshdeep Kamble, former bureaucrat J. P. Dange and other officers were present.

The State CET Cell provides admissions to nearly 2.75 to 3 lakh students seeking admission in private professional educational institutions for the first year through the centralized admission system. The Admissions Regulating Authority gives approval to admissions of the students thus admitted. To accelerate and simplify the process of approval for such proposals submitted to the Admissions Regulating Authority, this online module is developed.

Through this system, the candidates and colleges can submit the review petitions easily as the process is greatly simplified. Thus, this online system will prove greatly beneficial to colleges, candidates, and their guardians.
