MNGL reduces CNG Prices in Pune City, Pimpri-Chinchwad & Adjoining Areas of Talegaon, Chakan, Hinjewadi from the midnight of 5th / 6th March, 2024

 

Pune – (The Karbhri News Service) – City Gas Distribution (CGD) company Maharashtra Natural Gas Ltd (MNGL) has reduced retail selling price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) in the Pune city including Pimpri-Chinchwad and adjoining areas of Chakan, Talegaon and Hinjewadi with effect from midnight of 5th / 6th March, 2024. The CNG price has been reduced by Rs. 2.50/- per KG including taxes. The CNG retail selling price has been revised from Rs. 86.0/- per KG to Rs. 83.50/- per KG.

All the esteemed customers of MNGL may please take note of the same.

After the above revision, MNGL’s CNG offers very attractive savings of around 50% and 30% as compared to petrol and diesel respectively at current price levels in Pune city for passenger car segment and over 30% for Autorickshaws.

Since 26th January’2024, ‘National PNG Drive’ is being taken up across the country by CGD entities based on thrust being given by the Government and Regulatory Board to improve the penetration of Natural Gas in the country. In this regard, w.e.f. 14.02.2024, MNGL reduced Domestic PNG Prices and over a period of few days now, we have been witnessing that the new registrations and conversions for Domestic PNG are picking up at a rapid pace. There is a positivity in the attractiveness of Natural Gas usage amongst end consumers in the PMC and PCMC areas.

Considering the above experience, MNGL has decided to effect this CNG price reduction to create such positivity and attractiveness of CNG as a preferred fuel amongst the end consumers.

MNGL is operating CGD project in 6 geographical areas including Pune and has reduced the CNG prices by Rs. 2.50/- per KG including taxes in all of them.

Inauguration of various development works at Lohgaon by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar

 | Deputy Chief Minister examines Dehu, Alandi to create a new municipal corporation

 Pune | Illegal constructions, road problems arise in villages near the city.  Therefore, for proper development, it is necessary to have a municipal corporation and a municipality, and whether Dehu, Alandi, Chakan, Rajgurunagar can be made into a municipal corporation, said Ajit Pawar Deputy Chief Minister of the state and guardian minister of the district.
 Deputy Chief Minister pawar has done   Bhoomipujan of Lohgaon-Wagholi Common Water Supply Scheme at Lohgaon by Pawar, Dhanori Survey no.  7 Bhoomipujan was performed for the water tank to be constructed here.  He was speaking on this occasion.  MLA Sunil Tingre, Chetan Tupe, former MLA Rambhau Moze, Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar, PMC Additional Commissioner Ravindra Binwade, Pandurang Khese, Satish Mhaske, Swapnil Pathare etc. were present in the program.
 Deputy Chief Minister Shri.  Pawar said, necessary efforts will be made to solve the problems of Lohgaon.  If the road under the Defense Department is removed from outside, the airport here can be expanded and large international aircraft can land.  Any development projects require space.  He also said that if there are any problems regarding the assessment of the place, a way will be found by talking to the registration department.
 Talking about the water problem, Mr. Pawar said, the population of Pune has increased a lot.  People come to Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad in search of employment.  They have to provide facilities like water, health, shelter etc.  Due to this, the agriculture in Indapur, Haveli, Daund, Purandar talukas is getting less water.  In order to save water, there is a plan to make a tunnel instead of a canal.  Along with Pune water, efforts are underway to get water from the Tata Dam to provide water for agriculture.  Shri.  Pawar said.
 There has been a substantial increase in the funds of the District Planning Committee to provide facilities to the citizens.  BRT lane of PMPML was closed to solve the problem of traffic jam at Lohgaon.  Also a flyover is required as a permanent solution.  He also said that this problem will be solved to a large extent after the construction of the ring road.
 The state government is trying to solve the problems of citizens.  Recruitment in the state has been started on a large scale.  Along with this, efforts are being made to get employment for the youth in various establishments through employment fairs.  A new youth policy will be made in the state.  The Deputy Chief Minister also said that new employable courses have been started in ITI, which will benefit the youth.
 To speed up the important projects in the state, a project coordination committee has been formed and through it, projects of various subjects like metro, ring road, big hospitals, ports, coastal road etc. are being speeded up.  The deputy chief minister informed that efforts are being made to make roads of concrete instead of asphalt to make them durable across the state.
 MLA Mr.  Tingre said, Deputy Chief Minister Shri.  Various development works are getting funds through Pawar.  230 crores have been approved for the Lohgaon-Wagholi water supply scheme, totaling 450 km.  230 km of distribution pipelines of  The pipes are only in Lohgaon.  There are 8 tanks with a capacity of more than 20 lakhs and new 9 tanks are under construction.  The work of Lohgaon Upazila Hospital is in final stage and funds have been approved for Lohgaon ITI.  He said that efforts are underway to approve funds for roads, underground sewage channels.
 The program was attended by local public representatives, officials of various departments and citizens.
