 Pune : Pimpri Chinchwad city is a fast developing city and keeping in mind the population of this well-planned industrial city, more infrastructure facilities will be provided for the overall development of the city, Deputy Chief Minister and District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar assured.
  MLA Ashwini Jagtap, Municipal Corporation Commissioner (PCMC Commissioner) Shekhar Singh, Additional Commissioner Ulhas Jagtap, former Mayor Yogesh Bahl, Vijaykumar Khorate etc were present on this occasion.
 Mr.  Pawar said, emphasis is being laid on the development of infrastructure to make the city known at the national level.  Efforts are being made to provide better facilities to the citizens and to raise their standard of living.  Various development works have been started for that purpose.  He appealed to everyone to cooperate for the development works as the employment opportunities are also increasing due to this.
 The Deputy Chief Minister further said that tall buildings are being constructed in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation area.  For that, it is necessary to have a competent and up-to-date fire fighting system.  A plan of around Rs 350 crore has been prepared for this.  The government is striving for the overall development of the Bahujan community and to provide justice to them.  The administration is planning water supply keeping in mind the estimated population of Pimpri Chinchwad city in 2032.
 A large number of development works are going on in the country.  It includes the works of Vande Bharat Railway, expansion of airports, modernization of infrastructure etc.  The benefits of various public welfare schemes are being conveyed to the people.  The country is fast moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world.  Mr. Pawar also said that the citizens of the city are also benefiting from it and a large number of infrastructure facilities are being built in the city.
 The program was attended by a large number of local citizens, former councilors and public representatives.
 *Inauguration of various development works and Bhoomi Pujan*
 Household hazardous waste treatment center at Kasarwadi and Gawli Matha of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation was inaugurated by Mr. Pawar.  9 crore rupees have been spent for this work MLA Ashwini Jagtap, MLA Anna Bansode, Commissioner Shekhar Singh, Additional Commissioner Vijay Khorate, Sahasha Engineer Sanjay Kulkarni, Executive Engineer (Environment) Harvinder Singh Bansal, Executive Engineer (Electricity) Anil Bharsakhle were present.
 Mr. Pawar also inaugurated the building constructed for the accommodation of postgraduate students of Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Divyang Bhawan at Pimpri.  In this building, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, music therapy, audiology, dance therapy have been facilitated through modern technology.  It is the first center in the country to have a built-up area of ​​24 thousand square feet as per the provisions of the Persons with Disabilities Act with a multi-sensory environment.  Sandvik Company has contributed Rs 72 lakh for the center from CSR fund.  The building of the center is a four storied building and has cost around Rs. 11 crores.
 Transfer station for solid waste management at Kalewadi was inaugurated and Bhoomipujan of international standard badminton court at Wakad was also done on this occasion.  Renewed Kai in Sangvi by Deputy Chief Minister.  Balasaheb Shitole Swimming Pool was inaugurated.
