Water cut in Pune on Thursday |  The Pune Municipal Water Supply  department has appealed to the people of Pune to use water sparingly in the future.  Because the decision to save water on the lines of El Nino storm has been taken by the municipal administration (Pune civic body).  Accordingly, from May 18, water will be shut off in the entire city every Thursday.  The planning of the administration has been completed in this regard.  On Friday and Saturday, water may come under low pressure in some areas, so the administration has appealed to use water sparingly.  (Pune water supply cut)

 The state government is serious about water in the wake of Al Nino storm.  Along with reservation of drinking water, the government has given instructions to cut water wherever necessary. Accordingly, the Pune municipal corporation (PMC) has made a plan. Meanwhile, will water cut be implemented in Pune? If so, will water be available every other day?  This meeting was held.  Air walls were installed at 20 places

 Meanwhile, there are some areas in the city where water supply is shut off for one day and the problem of water shortage arises for the next three days.  (Pune water cut) Because of this, the citizens are troubled.  The key issue is how the administration will plan in such areas.  The administration has prepared accordingly.  In this regard, Anirudh Pavaskar, head of water supply department, said that there are some parts of the city which are called tail end.  If the water is shut off for one day in such a place, water comes at low pressure for the next two days.  Technical corrections have been made in this regard.  There are 20 localities in the city.  Air wall has been installed there.  This will decrease the air pressure and increase the water pressure.  Vents have been installed in some places.  These walls have been installed at places like Warje, Karvenagar, Yerwada, Kharadi, Taljai Plateau, Rasta Peth, Nana Peth.  (Pune water news)
