104 toll free helpline now to prevent female feticide and report complaints in Maharashtra

 

Pune | Under the guidance of | Public Health Minister Prof. Dr.Tanaji Sawant, PCPNDT and various activities and measures are being successfully implemented to increase the sex ratio in the Maharashtra state and to prevent female foeticide. Toll free helpline service 104 has been started 24 hours to register complaints and clear doubts in the state to prevent female foeticide.

The State Government has started this initiative to effectively implement the Pre-Conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prevention of Sex Selection) Act, 1994 and the amended Act, 2003. 1 thousand 69 complaints have been registered through this helpline till February 2024 and 1 thousand 64 complaints have been redressed through State Family Welfare Office Pune.

PCPNDT toll free helpline number 18002334475 was earlier operational but now this number has been included in health department helpline number 104 with effect from 22 February 2024. This service is available to the public 24 hours full time. Now both these helpline numbers have been continued to register PCPNDT complaints.

The complaint registered through this number will be recorded by the working officer-employee of the room and sent to the concerned appropriate authority (District Surgeon), Medical Superintendent and Medical Officer Municipal Corporation (for urban division) and State Family Welfare Office Pune for further action by email on a daily basis. On February 23, Deputy Director of Health Services (DHS) Dr. Rekha Gaikwad and Assistant Director Dr. Training was provided by Rajshree Dhavale.

If anyone files a complaint on both the toll free helpline numbers, the complaint will remain confidential and if the complainant wishes, he can also register his name and under the PCPNDT Act, the complaint will be disposed of and a case will be filed against the person who diagnoses the sex of the fetus. After making a complaint to prevent female feticide, if the complaint is successfully implemented, the complainant will be given an amount of Rs. However, Health Minister Prof. Dr. Sawant has done.

The Department of Health has also informed that for the effective implementation of the Pre-Conception and Antenatal Diagnostic Techniques (Prevention of Sex Selection) Act 1994, amended Act 2003 and to launch a new website to prevent female feticide, it will be operational soon.

गोवर संसर्ग रोखण्यासाठी दहा कलमी कार्यक्रम राबवावा

| आरोग्य मंत्री तानाजी सावंत यांच्या सूचना, अतिरिक्त लसीकरणही करणार

गोवर (Measles) संसर्ग रोखण्यासाठी मोठ्या प्रमाणावर लसीकरण मोहीम (Vaccination) महानगरपालिका तसेच नगर पालिका क्षेत्रात राबविण्याच्या सूचना राज्याचे आरोग्य मंत्री प्रा.डॉ. तानाजी सावंत (Health minister Tanaji Sawant) यांनी आज दिल्या. त्याचबरोबर दहा कलमी कार्यक्रम राबविण्‍यात यावा, असेही त्यांनी सांगितले.

पुणे येथे टास्क फोर्सची आज पहिली बैठक झाली. या बैठकीपूर्वी डॉ. सावंत यांनी टास्क फोर्सचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. सुभाष साळुंके आणि आरोग्य संचालक डॉ. नितीन अंबाडेकर राज्य सर्वेक्षण अधिकारी डॉ. प्रदीप आवटे, राज्य लसीकरण अधिकारी डाॅ. सचिन देसाई यांच्याशी चर्चा केली. त्यावेळी त्यांनी या सूचना दिल्या.

बैठकीत डॉ. सुभाष साळुंके यांनी सांगितलं की गोवरचा उद्रेक थांबविण्यासाठी सर्वप्रथम ९ महिने ते ५ वर्षे वयोगटातील बालकांचे लसीकरण करण्यात यावे. त्यासाठी विशिष्ट कालमर्यादा ठरविण्यात येण्याच्या सूचना त्यांनी दिल्या आहेत. यासाठी लागणारी यंत्रणा, लसीच्या मात्रा मोठ्या प्रमाणावर उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आले आहेत. या शिवाय उद्रेक झालेल्या भागात अतिरिक्त डोस देखील नऊ महिने ते पाच वर्षांच्या बालकांना देण्यात यावे असे सांगितले.

या बैठकीत जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेच्या सदस्य तसेच आय एम एचे सदस्य उपस्थित होते. अडीच तास चाललेल्या या बैठकीत दहा कलमी कार्यक्रमा बाबत चर्चा होऊन यात नियंत्रणासाठी पुढील दहा कलमी कृतीयोजना निश्चित करण्यात आल्या आहेत.

तज्ञ डॉक्टर्स आणि सदस्यांनी लसीकरण तसेच विलगीकरण यावर भर देत कुपोषित बालकांकडे आधिक लक्ष देण्या संदर्भात मत व्यक्त केले. काही खाजगी डॉक्टर्स यांनी जनजागृतीवर भर देऊन लसीकरण मोहीम मोठ्या प्रमाणावर राबविताना ती ठराविक काळा पुरती घ्यावी. याबाबत व्यापक जनजागृती करावी अशाही काही सूचना यावेळी मांडण्यात आल्या.

या बैठकीतील आलेल्या सुचना आणि तज्ञांनी व्यक्त केलेल्या मतावर राज्याचे सार्वजनिक आरोग्य व कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्री यांच्याशी पुन्हा सविस्तर चर्चा करून अतिरिक्त डोस, मनुष्य बळ आणी जनजागृती तसेच धर्मगुरू, लोकप्रतिनिधीचा सहभाग यावर बैठक घेऊन पुढिल उपाययोजना करण्यात येणार असल्याचे अध्यक्ष डॉ सुभाष साळुंके यांनी सांगितले.

बैठकीत आयएमए, बालरोग तज्ज्ञ, जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेचे प्रतिनिधी यांच्यासह आरोग्‍य विभागातील वरिष्ठ अधिकारी यांची उपस्थिती होती.

दहा कलमी कार्यक्रम
o ताप–पुरळ रुग्णाचे गतिमान सर्वेक्षण
o राज्यातील गोवर हॉट स्पॉटचा शोध – उद्रेक स्थळे, लसीकरण कमी असणारे भाग, लोकसंख्येची दाटीवाटी असणारे , वंचित समाज समूह राहत असणारे आणि कुपोषण अधिक असणारे भाग या क्षेत्रावर विशेष भर दिला जाणार आहे.
o विभागीय स्तरावर शीघ्र प्रतिसाद पथके आणि स्थानिक सूक्ष्म कृतीआराखडा
o ९ महिने ५ वर्षेवयोगटातील बालकांसाठी विशेष लसीकरण अभियान आणि उद्रेक प्रतिसाद लसीकरण
o कुपोषित बालकांकडे विशेष लक्ष – प्रत्येक कुपोषित मुलाला प्राधान्याने उपचारात्मक पोषण , जीवनसत्व अ आणि गोवर लसीकरण
o आंतर विभागीय समन्वय – नगरविकास, महिला आणि
बालविकास, अल्पसंखयांक कल्याण विभाग यांचेशी समन्वय.
o राज्यातील सर्वांसाठी गोवर उपचार मार्गदर्शन सूचना
o गोवर प्रयोगशाळा जाळे आधिक विस्तारीकरण
o गोवर रुग्ण आणी मृत्यूचे सखोल साथरोगशास्त्रीय विशेष सर्वेक्षण आणि त्यानुसार कृतीयोजना, दीर्घकालीन उपाययोजनेसाठी आवश्यक संशोधन आणि सर्वांगीण शहरी आरोग्य यंत्रणेसाठी योजना
o सामाजिक प्रबोधन, लोकसहभाग आणी आरोग्य शिक्षण
