  First Prize to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited in Pune Municipal Corporation’s 42nd Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Exhibition!

   1100 contestants took a total of 3000 entries in various categories in various competitions held on the occasion of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) fruits, flowers and vegetable exhibition (PMC 42th Fruit, flowers and vegetable competition and exhibition). The first prize in the exhibition was Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd.  12000/- check and trophy to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, 2nd prize – Shree Shivaji Pre-Gretary Military School, Pune 10000/- check and trophy and 3rd prize – Shreya Landscaping and Gardening, Pune 9000/- check and trophy  (Pune Municipal Corporation 74th Anniversary)
 42nd Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Exhibition on the occasion of the anniversary of Pune Municipal Corporation.  It was held at Sambhaji Raje Park.  The prize distribution ceremony of the competitions organized on the occasion of the said exhibition was held on Sunday.
 The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Mr. Dr. Shri.  Deepak Tilak, Chancellor, Tilak Maharashtra University, Chief Advisor, The Rose Society of Pune, Editor, Kesari Newspaper and Hon. Dr. Shri.  Siddharth Dhende, Former Deputy Mayor, Pune, Mr. Vikram Kumar, Principal, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Pune, Mr.  Dnyaneshwar Mokal, Additional Municipal Commissioner (General) (Retd.), Mr. Ganesh Shirke President, The Rose Society of Pune, Shri.  Arun Patil, Former President, The Rose Society of Pune and Mr.  Nilesh Apte- Secretary, The Rose Society of Pune was the chief guest and Hon.  Sandeep Kale, Former Tree Authority Committee Member, Pune Municipal Corporation and Mr. Rakesh Witkar of Pune Municipal Corporation, Pr.  Chief Security Officer, Hon.  Ashok Ghorpade, Chief Park Superintendent and Mr. Santosh Kumar Kamble, Park Superintendent, Mr. Snehal Harpale, Mr. Ratnakar Karde, Mrs. Shruti Nazirkar, six.  Park Superintendent and officers and employees of Park Department were also present.
 – Various 12 sections on exhibition
 This type of exhibition is organized every year by the Pune Municipal Corporation with the aim of allowing the citizens to see the diversity of nature and thereby create awareness of nature conservation among them and to increase their participation in the work of “Majhi Vasundhara” project which is ongoing in the city of Pune.  The exhibition had a total of 12 different sections, with 215 sub-sections, including decorative leaf flower pot arrangements, herb collection, rose flower arrangement, seasonal flowers, table decoration, different types of flowers, vegetables, salad decoration, for women from disadvantaged groups, fruit and vegetable processing.  Prepared items, various types of necklaces, bouquets, ships, braids were on display.  Also, a separate section was kept for photographs based on nature and environment.  A variety of dahlia orchids,
 6, andhurium, gerbera, rose, cananion, etc.  A variety of seasonal as well as perennial flowers are the main attraction of this exhibition.  In this exhibition, replicas of different types of gardens were created for viewing.

 Exhibit no.  3- The prize distribution ceremony of rose arrangement department was done on behalf of The Rose Society of Pune
 In this, Mr. Dr. Deepak Tilak, Chancellor, Tilak Maharashtra University, Chief Adviser, The Rose Society of Pune, Editor, Kesari Newspaper have the auspicious hands of “King of Flowers” ​​and “Queen of Flowers” ​​as well as “Princess” and “Prince”.  All four such awards were given to Mr. Manchar K Irani, while Mr. Sahil Thombare was awarded the “Laxmibai Anantrao Naik Silver Medal” for his outstanding work in roses.  Kashta Shilp, Friends of Bonsai, Brahma Kumaris Vishwa Vidyalaya, Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Architecture etc. have participated and in this exhibition, citizens got to see Bonsai, Features Garden Pushkarani’s various flower designs and the concept of eco-friendly musical instrument production.
 – Various decoration on exhibition
 The exhibition includes main entrance decoration through garden department, flower butterfly decoration in main mandap, Mickey Mouse flower decoration, heart shape selfie point flower decoration, tree trunk display, my beauty display, natural display from waste material, flower valley display, water fall garden, dream zoo park.  Safari Scene, Flying Tea Pot Scene, Nectar Festival of Freedom, Udyan Darshan Bus Scene were created.
 – 1.25 lakh people benefited from the exhibition
  A total of 350 gardeners, Bigari Sevaks from the Parks and Trees Authority Department have received valuable support for the successful execution of the exhibition.  Plants, Fertilizers, Implements etc. for citizens.  75 stalls were made available with the aim of making the goods available.  Approximately 1 to 1.25 lakh citizens of the city have benefited from seeing the said exhibition.
