  Historical Roots |  The roots of the Pune Municipal Corporation can be traced back to the British period in 1858 when it was established as the Pune Municipality.  Over the years, as the city developed, so did the responsibilities of the civic bodies.  On February 15, 1950, the Pune Municipal Corporation was converted into a Municipal Corporation.  It is necessary to have a municipality for a growing city.  There is a need for further improvement in this category.  which reflects the growing importance of the city.
  Administration and Structure |  PMC functions under a democratic system.  Elected representatives are responsible for leading the development of the city.  The municipality is divided into several administrative zones.  Every elected corporator tries to fulfill the various needs of the residents of Pune.  The mayor, who is elected by the councillors, serves as the formal head of the PMC.  But for the last two years no one is working as a corporator and mayor.  The work of all these is done by the administrator ie municipal commissioner.  Despite this, the citizens still feel that the corporators are lacking.

PMC 74 th Anniversary | महापालिका वर्धापनदिन निमित्त आयोजित छायाचित्र प्रदर्शनात काष्ठशिल्प, जुन्या नाण्यांचा संग्रह!

 

PMC 74th Anniversary | पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या वर्धापन दिनानिमित्त (Pune Municipal Corporation Anniversary), पुणे महानगरपालिका सांस्कृतिक कला मंच यांचे वतीने बालगंधर्व रंगमंदिर येथील कलादालन येथे छायाचित्र प्रदर्शनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. याचे उद्घाटन महापालिका आयुक्त विक्रम कुमार (Vikram Kumar IAS) यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. या प्रदर्शनात फोटोग्राफी, पेंटिंग्स, हाताने तयार केलेल्या मूर्ती, काष्ठशिल्प, जुन्या नाण्यांचा संग्रह, इत्यादी साहित्य पाहण्याची संधी दर्शकांना मिळणार आहे. हे प्रदर्शन दिनांक 14 ते 16 फेब्रुवारी 2024 या कालावधी त सकाळी 10 ते रात्री 9 वाजेपर्यंत सर्वांसाठी खुले आहे. तरी सदर प्रदर्शनास भेट देण्याचे आवाहन सांस्कृतिक कलामंच च्या वतीने करण्यात आले आहे.

या  प्रदर्शनामध्ये महानगरपालिकेमधील खालील अधिकारी/सेवकांनी सहभाग घेतला आहे.

 On the occasion of Pune Municipal Corporation’s anniversary,  three days of various cultural programs for employees and officers!

 Pune Municipal Corporation 74th Anniversary |  Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is celebrating its 74th anniversary this year. On this occasion, various cultural programs have been organized by Pune Municipal Sanskrutik Kalamanch for the employees and officers.  Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar IAS, Additional Commissioner Ravindra Binwade IAS and Chief Labor Officer Nitin Kenjale PMC have appealed to the employees and officers to take advantage of this program.
 |  The programs will start from tomorrow
 Photo and handiwork exhibition of officers and employees has been organized at Balgandharva Rangmandir from 14th to 16th February.  The exhibition will continue for two days from 10 am to 8 pm.
 Various art exhibitions will be held on February 15 from 10 am to 1 am.  Suresh Pardeshi and other staff will present the program.  The program will be held at Balgandharva Rangmandir.
 A Marathi play will be performed at Balgandharva Rangmandir on February 15 from 2 pm to 5 pm.  Mangaldas Mane, Adarsh ​​Gaikwad and municipal employees will perform the play.
 A program of Marathi and Hindi songs will be held on February 15 from 5 to 8 pm.  Sachin Kadam and municipal employees will present the program.

PMC Gunvant Kamgar Purskar | पुणे महापालिका कर्मचाऱ्यांना गुणवंत कामगार पुरस्कार |  अर्ज करण्यासाठी अजून मुदतवाढ

PMC Gunvant Kamgar Purskar | पुणे महापालिका कामगार कल्याण निधी (PMC Labour Welfare Fund) अंतर्गत महापालिकेतील वर्ग 1 ते 4 मधील 20 कर्मचाऱ्यांना (PMC Employees and Officers) दरवर्षी गुणवंत कामगार पुरस्कार (Gunvant Kamgar Purskar) प्रदान केला जातो. यंदा दोन वर्षाचे म्हणजे 2020-21 आणि 2021-22 चे प्रत्येकी 20 असे 40 पुरस्कार दिले जाणार आहेत. त्यासाठी कामगार कल्याण विभागाकडून (PMC Labour Welfare Department) अर्ज मागवण्यात आले होते. त्यासाठी 31 ऑक्टोबर पर्यंत अर्ज करण्यासाठी मुदत देण्यात आली होती. त्यानंतर देखील मुदतवाढ देऊन पुरेसे अर्ज दाखल झाले नाहीत. त्यामुळे 29 फेब्रुवारी पर्यंत मुदतवाढ देण्याचा निर्णय प्रशासनाने घेतला आहे. याबाबतचे परिपत्रक नुकतेच अतिरिक्त आयुक्त रविंद्र बिनवडे (Ravindra Binwade IAS) यांनी जारी केले आहे. दरवर्षी दिले जातात पुरस्कार

महापालिका अधिकारी आणि कर्मचाऱ्यांना (PMC Pune employees and officers) प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी, त्यांच्या कामाप्रती कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करण्यासाठी महापालिकेच्या कामगार कल्याण विभागाच्या (PMC Labour Welfare Department) वतीने गुणवंत कामगार पुरस्कार दिला जातो. दरवर्षी  वर्ग 1 ते वर्ग 4 मधील 20 कर्मचाऱ्यांना हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो. 25 हजार रुपये, प्रशस्तीपत्र आणि ट्रॉफी असे या पुरस्काराचे स्वरूप आहे. या 20 कर्मचाऱ्यांमध्ये वर्ग 1 आणि वर्ग 2 चा प्रत्येकी 1 अधिकारी, वर्ग 3 मधील 5 कर्मचारी आणि वर्ग 4 मधील 13 कर्मचारी यांचा समावेश करण्यात येतो. गुणवंत कामगारपुरस्कार देताना विविध निकषांचा विचार केला जातो. यामध्ये खासकरून कर्मचाऱ्यांची वैयक्तिक माहिती देखील विचारात घेतली जाते. तसेच सेवाविषयक माहितीचा देखील विचार केला जातो. यामध्ये कर्मचाऱ्याने महापालिकेचे उत्पन्न वाढवण्यात तसेच बचत करण्यात काय योगदान दिले, याबद्दलची माहिती विचारात घेतली जाते. कर्मचाऱ्यांची मागील 5 वर्षातील गोपनीय मूल्यमापन अहवालाची माहिती देखील घेतली जाते. तसेच कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या सांस्कृतिक, सामाजिक उपक्रमामधील सहभागाविषयी मते विचारात घेतली जातात. शैक्षणिक कार्याबद्दल कुठले पुरस्कार मिळाले आहेत का, याचा आढावा घेतला जातो. क्रीडा स्पर्धा मधील सहभाग आणि एखाद्या खेळामधील प्राविण्य देखील विचारात घेतले जाते. कर्मचाऱ्याने कुठले पुस्तक लिहून प्रकाशित केले आहे का, वर्तमानपत्र किंवा मासिकात काही लेख लिहिले आहेत का, हा देखील विचार केला जातो. अशा सर्व गोष्टीचा आढावा घेऊन मार्क दिले जातात.    1100 contestants took a total of 3000 entries in various categories in various competitions held on the occasion of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) fruits, flowers and vegetable exhibition (PMC 42th Fruit, flowers and vegetable competition and exhibition). The first prize in the exhibition was Hindustan Petroleum Corp.  42nd Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Exhibition on the occasion of the anniversary of Pune Municipal Corporation.  It was held at Sambhaji Raje Park.  The prize distribution ceremony of the competitions organized on the occasion of the said exhibition was held on Sunday.
 The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Mr. Dr. Shri.  Deepak Tilak, Chancellor, Tilak Maharashtra University, Chief Advisor, The Rose Society of Pune, Editor, Kesari Newspaper and Hon. Dr. Shri.  Siddharth Dhende, Former Deputy Mayor, Pune, Mr. Vikram Kumar, Principal, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation, Pune, Mr.  Dnyaneshwar Mokal, Additional Municipal Commissioner (General) (Retd.), Mr. Ganesh Shirke President, The Rose Society of Pune, Shri.  Arun Patil, Former President, The Rose Society of Pune and Mr.  Nilesh Apte- Secretary, The Rose Society of Pune was the chief guest and Hon.  Sandeep Kale, Former Tree Authority Committee Member, Pune Municipal Corporation and Mr. Rakesh Witkar of Pune Municipal Corporation, Pr.  Chief Security Officer, Hon.  Ashok Ghorpade, Chief Park Superintendent and Mr. Santosh Kumar Kamble, Park Superintendent, Mr. Snehal Harpale, Mr. Ratnakar Karde, Mrs. Shruti Nazirkar, six.  Park Superintendent and officers and employees of Park Department were also present.
 – Various 12 sections on exhibition
 This type of exhibition is organized every year by the Pune Municipal Corporation with the aim of allowing the citizens to see the diversity of nature and thereby create awareness of nature conservation among them and to increase their participation in the work of “Majhi Vasundhara” project which is ongoing in the city of Pune.  The exhibition had a total of 12 different sections, with 215 sub-sections, including decorative leaf flower pot arrangements, herb collection, rose flower arrangement, seasonal flowers, table decoration, different types of flowers, vegetables, salad decoration, for women from disadvantaged groups, fruit and vegetable processing.  Prepared items, various types of necklaces, bouquets, ships, braids were on display.  Also, a separate section was kept for photographs based on nature and environment.  A variety of dahlia orchids,
 6, andhurium, gerbera, rose, cananion, etc.  A variety of seasonal as well as perennial flowers are the main attraction of this exhibition.  In this exhibition, replicas of different types of gardens were created for viewing.

 In this, Mr. Dr. Deepak Tilak, Chancellor, Tilak Maharashtra University, Chief Adviser, The Rose Society of Pune, Editor, Kesari Newspaper have the auspicious hands of “King of Flowers” ​​and “Queen of Flowers” ​​as well as “Princess” and “Prince”.  All four such awards were given to Mr. Manchar K Irani, while Mr. Sahil Thombare was awarded the “Laxmibai Anantrao Naik Silver Medal” for his outstanding work in roses.  Kashta Shilp, Friends of Bonsai, Brahma Kumaris Vishwa Vidyalaya, Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Architecture etc. have participated and in this exhibition, citizens got to see Bonsai, Features Garden Pushkarani’s various flower designs and the concept of eco-friendly musical instrument production.

 The exhibition includes main entrance decoration through garden department, flower butterfly decoration in main mandap, Mickey Mouse flower decoration, heart shape selfie point flower decoration, tree trunk display, my beauty display, natural display from waste material, flower valley display, water fall garden, dream zoo park.  Safari Scene, Flying Tea Pot Scene, Nectar Festival of Freedom, Udyan Darshan Bus Scene were created.
 – 1.25 lakh people benefited from the exhibition
  A total of 350 gardeners, Bigari Sevaks from the Parks and Trees Authority Department have received valuable support for the successful execution of the exhibition.  Plants, Fertilizers, Implements etc. for citizens.  75 stalls were made available with the aim of making the goods available.  Approximately 1 to 1.25 lakh citizens of the city have benefited from seeing the said exhibition.

– प्रदर्शनात विविध 12 विभाग 

नागरिकांना निसर्गातील विविधता पाहता यावी व त्यामधून त्यांचे मध्ये निसर्ग संवर्धनाची जाणीव निर्माण व्हावी व पुणे मनपाच्यावतीने पुणे शहरात सुरु असलेल्या ” माझी वसुंधरा ” प्रकल्पाच्या कार्यामध्ये त्यांचा सहभाग वाढवा याच उद्देशाने पुणे मनपाच्यावतीने दरवर्षी अशा प्रकारचे प्रदर्शन आयोजित करण्यात येते. या प्रदर्शनामध्ये वेगवेगळे एकूण १२ विभाग होते, त्यामध्ये २१५ उपविभाग असून, त्यामध्ये शोभिवंत पानाफुलांच्या कुंड्यांची मांडणी, औषधी वनस्पतींचा संग्रह, गुलाब पुष्पांची मांडणी, हंगामी फुले, टेबल सजावट, वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारची फुले, भाजीपाला, सॅलेड डेकोरेशन, बचत गटातील महिलांसाठी, फळे भाजीपाल्यावर प्रक्रिया करून तयार केलेले पदार्थ, विविध प्रकारचे हार, पुष्पगुच्छ, शिप, वेण्या प्रदर्शनात मांडण्यात आलेले होते. तसेच निसर्ग व पर्यावरणावर आधारित छायाचित्रांसाठी स्वतंत्र विभाग ठेवण्यात आलेले होते. विविध प्रकारचे डेलिया आर्किड,
६, ॲन्धुरिअम, जरबेरा, गुलाब, कानॅशन इ. प्रकारची हंगामी तसेच बहुवार्षिक फुलझाडे या प्रदर्शनातील प्रमुख आकर्षण आहे. या प्रदर्शनामध्ये विविध प्रकारच्या उद्यानांच्या प्रतिकृती पाहण्यासाठी तयार करण्यात आलेल्या होत्या.

– प्रदर्शनात विविध देखावे 

सदर प्रदर्शनामध्ये उद्यान विभागामार्फत मुख्य प्रवेशद्वार सुशोभिकरण, मुख्य मंडपमधील फुलांचे फुलपाखरू सुशोभिकरण, मिकी माऊस फुलांचे सुशोभिकरण हार्ट शेप सेल्फी पॉईन्ट फुलांचे सुशोभिकरण, वृक्षदिंडी देखावा, माझी वसुंधरा देखावा, टाकाऊ वस्तूपासून टिकाऊ वस्तूंचा नैसर्गिक देखावा, फ्लॉवर व्हॅली देखावा, वॉटर फॉल गार्डन, ड्रीम झु पार्क सफारी देखावा, फ्लाइंग टी पॉट देखावा, स्वातंत्र्याचा अमृत महोत्सव पर्व, उद्यान दर्शन बस देखावा तयार करण्यात आलेला होता.

 

– सव्वा लाख लोकांनी घेतला प्रदर्शनाचा लाभ 

प्रदर्शन यशस्वीरित्या पार पाडण्यासाठी उद्यान व वृक्ष प्राधिकरण विभागाकडील एकूण ३५० माळी, बिगारी सेवकांचे बहुमोल सहकार्य लाभलेले आहे. नागरिकांसाठी रोपे, खते, अवजारे इ. वस्तू उपलब्ध व्हाव्यात या उद्देशाने ७५ स्टॉल्स उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आलेले होते. सदरचे प्रदर्शन पाहण्याचा शहरातील अंदाजे १ ते १.२५ लक्ष इतक्या नागरिकांनी लाभ घेतलेला आहे.

 Pune Municipal Corporation’s 42nd Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Exhibition inaugurated by PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar!

 PMC 74th Anniversary |  42nd Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Exhibition organized at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Garden Pune on the occasion of 74th Anniversary of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). The exhibition was inaugurated by Vikram Kumar, Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation (Vikram Kumar PMC Commissioner).
 The program was graced by Ashok Ghorpade, Chief Park Superintendent and Member Secretary, Tree Authority and Santosh Kumar  Kamble, Park Superintendent and Rahul Salunke, Executive Engineer, Park Department, Sandeep Kale, D.S.  Polekar, Shilpa Bhosle and officers and employees of the park department were present.  (PMC Garden Department)
 The exhibition has a total of 266 different sections.  An arrangement of ornamental flowerpots in it. Collection of medicinal plants, rose flower arrangements, seasonal flowers, table decorations, different types of flowers, vegetables, salad decorations, for women in self-help groups, processed products made from fruits and vegetables, various types of necklaces, bouquets, ships, braids were on display as well as nature.  And a separate section has been kept for environment based photographs.  Various types of Dahlia, Orchid, Anthurium, Gerbera, Rose, Carnation etc.
 A variety of seasonal as well as perennial flowers are the main attraction of this exhibition.  (Pune PMC News)
 In this exhibition, replicas of different types of gardens have been created for viewing.  In the various competitions held on the occasion of the said exhibition, 1100 contestants have taken a total of 3000 entries in various sections.
 The prize distribution ceremony will be held tomorrow at 5.00 pm.  Ch.  Sambhaji Raje Udyan, Jungli Maharaj Road, has been organized under the chairmanship of Vikas Dhakne, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Special) and Deepak Tilak, Chief Advisor Rose Society of Pune.
 Mainly Solid Waste Department, Environment Centre, Pushkarani, Nisarga Sevak, Tilak Ayurveda College, Friends of Bonsai, Brahma Kumaris University College, Agriculture College etc. participated in this competition.  Organizations have participated and in this exhibition bonsai, features garden, various floral designs of Pushkarani and the concept of making eco-friendly musical instruments etc.  Citizens can see.
 On behalf of PMC CARE of Pune Municipal Corporation, on the occasion of this exhibition, citizens were urged to send selfies on PMC CARE APP after visiting the exhibition, according to this, citizens have responded enthusiastically to the 42nd Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Exhibition 2024 group in PMC CARE APP.
 The exhibition will be open to all citizens from today till tomorrow at 9.00 pm.  Although it will remain open for all for free till midnight, all citizens should take maximum advantage of seeing the said exhibition.  Such an appeal has been made on behalf of the pmc garden Department.

PMC 74th Anniversary | पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) ७४ व्या वर्धापन दिनानिमित्ताने (PMC 74th Anniversary) ४२ वे फळे, फुले व भाजीपाला प्रदर्शन छत्रपती संभाजीराजे उद्यानात (Chhatrapati Sambhaji Garden Pune) आयोजित करण्यात आलेले आहे. या प्रदर्शनाचे उदघाटन विक्रम कुमार, आयुक्त, पुणे महानगरपालिका (Vikram Kumar PMC Commissioner) यांच्या शुभहस्ते संपन्न झाले.
या कार्यक्रमास अशोक घोरपडे, मुख्य उद्यान अधिक्षक तथा सदस्य सचिव, वृक्ष प्राधिकरण तसेच संतोषकुमार कांबळे, उद्यान अधिक्षक व  राहुल साळुंके, कार्यकारी अभियंता, उद्यान विभाग, संदीप काळे, द.स. पोळेकर, शिल्पा भोसले तसेच उद्यान विभागातील अधिकारी व कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते. (PMC Garden Department)
या प्रदर्शनामध्ये वेगवेगळे एकूण २६६ विभाग आहेत. त्यामध्ये शोभिवंत पानाफुलांच्या कुंड्यांची मांडणी, औषधी वनस्पतींचा संग्रह, गुलाब पुष्पांची मांडणी, हंगामी फुले, टेबल सजावट, वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारची फुले, भाजीपाला,bसॅलेड डेकोरेशन, बचत गटातील महिलांसाठी, फळे भाजीपाल्यावर प्रक्रिया करून तयार केलेले पदार्थ, विविध प्रकारचे हार, पुष्पगुच्छ, शिप, वेण्या प्रदर्शनात मांडण्यात आलेले होते तसेच निसर्ग व पर्यावरणावर आधारित छायाचित्रांसाठी स्वतंत्र विभाग ठेवण्यात आलेले आहेत. विविध प्रकारचे डेलिया, आर्किड, अॅन्थुरिअम, जरबेरा, गुलाब, कार्नेशन इ. प्रकारची हंगामी तसेच बहुवार्षिक फुलझाडे या प्रदर्शनातील प्रमुख आकर्षण आहे. या प्रदर्शनामध्ये विविध प्रकारच्या उद्यानांच्या प्रतिकृती पाहण्यासाठी तयार करण्यात आलेल्या आहेत. सदर प्रदर्शनानिमित्ताने घेण्यात आलेल्या विविध स्पर्धांमध्ये ११०० स्पर्धकांनी विविध विभागामध्ये एकूण ३००० इतक्या प्रवेशिका घेतलेल्या असून, सदर स्पर्धांचा पारितोषिक वितरण समारंभ उद्या सायंकाळी ५.०० वा. छ. संभाजीराजे उद्यान, जंगली महाराज रस्ता, या ठिकाणी विकास ढाकणे, अतिरिक्तमहापालिका आयुक्त (विशेष) यांचे अध्यक्षतेखाली व दीपक टिळक, मुख्य सल्लागार रोझ सोसायटी ऑफ पुणे यांचे शुभ हस्ते आयोजित करणेत आलेला आहे.

पुणे महानगरपालिकेचे PMC CARE यांचे वतीने या प्रदर्शनाच्या निमित्ताने नागरिकांना प्रदर्शनास भेट दिल्यानंतर PMC CARE APP वर सेल्फी पाठविण्याचे आवाहन करण्यात आलेले होते, त्यानुसार, PMC CARE APP मधील ४२ वे फळे,फुले व भाजीपाला प्रदर्शन २०२४ या ग्रुप वर नागरिकांनी उस्फुर्तपणे प्रतिसाद नोंदविलेला आहे.
सदरचे प्रदर्शन सर्व नागरिकांना आज पासून उद्या पर्यंत रात्री ९.०० वा. वाजेपर्यंत सर्वासाठी मोफत खुले राहील तरी सर्व नागरिकांनी सदरच्या प्रदर्शन पाहण्याच्या जास्तीत जास्त लाभ घेण्यात यावा. असे आवाहन उद्यान विभागाच्या वतीने करण्यात आले आहे.

 PMC Garden Department |  On the occasion of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Anniversary 42nd Fruits Flowers and Vegetables Competition and Exhibition is organized for 10th and 11th February 2024 at PMC Chhatrapati Sambhaji Garden J M Road.  The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday 10th February at 11.00 am by Vikram Kumar, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator, (Vikram Kumar IAS).  This information was given by Ashok Ghorpade PMC, Chief Park Superintendent of the Pune Municipal Corporation.  (PMC Garden Department)
 Arranging exhibitions of flowers, fruits, vegetables, trees or plants, as well as organizing such exhibitions  To assist private and public institutions to do and J. of trees and plants in human life  It is an important place.  Every year, Pune Municipal Council organizes such a meeting with the aim of forming a public opinion about it  An exhibition is organized.  (Pune PMC News)
 The exhibition has a total of 12 sections of different types and 216 sub-sections.  They include decorative flower pot arrangements, herb collection, rose flower arrangements, seasonal flowers, table decorations, different types of flowers, vegetables, salad decorations for women in self-help groups, fruits, processed vegetables, different types of garlands, bouquets, mussels.  , braids, gajres will be exhibited.  Seasonal as well as perennial flowers like different types of dahlia, orchid, anthurium, gerbera rose, carnation etc. are the major attraction in the exhibition.
 In this exhibition, replicas of different types of gardens will be prepared for viewing.  The prize distribution ceremony of the winners of the various competitions held on the occasion of the said exhibition will be held on February 11 at 5:00 PM at Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Udyan, Jungli Maharaj Road, here.  has been organized.
 Mainly in this competition, Pune University, Metro, River Improvement Project, Solid Waste Management, NDA,
 CME, Forest Department, Pune Institute of Snake Science, Rajiv Gandhi Zoological Museum, Environment Centre, Pushkarni Uttara Environment Centre, Lonavala, Tilak Ayurveda College of Bonsai, Pimpri-Chinchwad  Municipal Corporation etc.  Departments/ Institutions will be participating.  The exhibition features bonsai, wood sculpture  Garden, paper craft, different types of flower arrangement etc.  Citizens will get to see.  Also  Plant my Vasundhara trees, save trees, maximize the use of bicycles, etc Concepts will be implemented.  A separate gallery will be kept for viewing the photographs.
 The exhibition has stalls selling flowers, fruits, tree seedlings, gardening materials, seeds, fertilizers  Citizens can buy various garden items/materials from 8.00 am to 8.30 pm on 10th and 11th February.  The exhibition is open to citizens free of cost Maximum number of citizens should benefit from this.  Ghorpade has made such an appeal.

PMC Garden Department | पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या वर्धापनदिना (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Anniversary) निमित्ताने ४२ वे फळे फुले व भाजीपाला स्पर्धा व प्रदर्शन, १० व ११ फेब्रुवारी २०२४ करिता छत्रपती संभाजीराजे उद्यान, जंगली महाराज रस्ता, (PMC Chhatrapati Sambhaji Garden J M Road) येथे आयोजित करण्यात आलेले आहे. या प्रदर्शनाचे उद्घाटन शनिवार  १० फेब्रुवारी रोजी सकाळी ११.०० वाजता  विक्रम कुमार, महापालिका आयुक्त तथा प्रशासक, (Vikram Kumar IAS) यांच्या शुभहस्ते करण्यात येणार आहे. अशी माहिती महापालिकेचे मुख्य उद्यान अधिक्षक अशोक घोरपडे (Ashok Ghorpade PMC) यांनी दिली. फुले, फळे, भाज्या, झाडे किंवा रोपे यांची प्रदर्शन आयोजित करणे, तसेच अशी प्रदर्शने आयोजित करण्यासाठी खाजगी व सार्वजनिक संस्थांना सहाय्य करणे आणि झाडे व वनस्पती यांचे मानवी जीवनात जे महत्वाचे स्थान आहे.  त्याबद्दल लोकमत तयार करणे या उद्देशाने पुणे मनपाच्यावतीने दरवर्षी अशा प्रकारचे प्रदर्शन आयोजित करण्यात येते. या प्रदर्शनामध्ये वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारचे एकूण १२ विभाग असून, २१६ उपविभाग आहेत. त्यामध्ये शोभिवंत पाना फुलांच्या कुड्यांची मांडणी, औषधी वनस्पतींचा संग्रह, गुलाब पुष्पांची मांडणी, हंगामी फुले, टेबल सजावट, वेगवेगळ्या प्रकारची फुले, भाजीपाला, सॅलेड सजावट बचत गटातील माहिलांसाठी, फळे, भाजीपाल्यावर प्रक्रिया करून तयार केलेले पदार्थ, विविध प्रकारचे हार, पुष्प गुच्छ, शिंपले, वेण्या, गजरे प्रदर्शनात मांडण्यात येणार आहेत. विविध प्रकारचे डेलिया, आर्किड, अॅन्थूरीअम, जरबेरा गुलाब, कार्नेशन इ.प्रकराची हंगामी तसेच बहुवार्षिक फुलझाडे या प्रदर्शनातील प्रमुख आकर्षण आहे.

या स्पर्धेमध्ये प्रामुख्याने, पुणे विद्यापीठ, मेट्रो, नदी सुधारणा प्रकल्प, घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन, एन.डी.ए., सी.एम.ई, वन विभाग, पुणे सर्प विज्ञान संस्था, राजीव गांधी प्राणी संग्रहालय, पर्यावरण केंद्र, पुष्करणी उत्तरा पर्यावरण केंद्र, लोणावळा, टिळक आयुर्वेद महाविद्यालय फ्रेडंस ऑफ बोन्साय, पिंपरी-चिंचवड महानगरपालिका इ. विभाग/ संस्था सहभागी होणार आहेत. या प्रदर्शना मध्ये बोन्साय, काष्ठ शिल्प, फिचर्स गार्डन, कागदी कलाकुसर, विविध प्रकारच्या पुष्परचना इ. नागरिकांना पहावयास मिळणार आहेत. तसेच माझी वसुंधरा वृक्ष लावा, वृक्ष जगवा, सायकलचा वापर जास्तीत जास्त करण्यात यावा, अशा प्रकारच्या संकल्पना साकारण्यात येणार आहेत. छायाचित्र प्रदर्शनासाठी स्वतंत्र दालन पाहण्यासाठी ठेवण्यात येणार आहे.
या प्रदर्शनामध्ये फुले, फळे, वृक्षांची रोपे, बागकाम साहित्य, बी- बियाणे, खते यांचे विक्रीचे स्टॉल रहाणार असून नागरिकांनी  १० व ११ फेब्रुवारी रोजी सकाळी ८.०० ते सायंकाळी ८.३० वा पर्यंत विविध बाग विषयक वस्तू / साहित्य खरेदी करता येईल. सदरचे प्रदर्शन नागरिकांसाठी विनामुल्य खुले असून याचा जास्तीत जास्त नागरिकांनी लाभ घ्यावा. असे आवाहन घोरपडे यांनी केले आहे.
