PMC 74th Anniversary |  42nd Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Exhibition organized at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Garden Pune on the occasion of 74th Anniversary of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). The exhibition was inaugurated by Vikram Kumar, Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation (Vikram Kumar PMC Commissioner).

 The program was graced by Ashok Ghorpade, Chief Park Superintendent and Member Secretary, Tree Authority and Santosh Kumar  Kamble, Park Superintendent and Rahul Salunke, Executive Engineer, Park Department, Sandeep Kale, D.S.  Polekar, Shilpa Bhosle and officers and employees of the park department were present.  (PMC Garden Department)

 The exhibition has a total of 266 different sections.  An arrangement of ornamental flowerpots in it. Collection of medicinal plants, rose flower arrangements, seasonal flowers, table decorations, different types of flowers, vegetables, salad decorations, for women in self-help groups, processed products made from fruits and vegetables, various types of necklaces, bouquets, ships, braids were on display as well as nature.  And a separate section has been kept for environment based photographs.  Various types of Dahlia, Orchid, Anthurium, Gerbera, Rose, Carnation etc.

 A variety of seasonal as well as perennial flowers are the main attraction of this exhibition.  (Pune PMC News)

 In this exhibition, replicas of different types of gardens have been created for viewing.  In the various competitions held on the occasion of the said exhibition, 1100 contestants have taken a total of 3000 entries in various sections.

 The prize distribution ceremony will be held tomorrow at 5.00 pm.  Ch.  Sambhaji Raje Udyan, Jungli Maharaj Road, has been organized under the chairmanship of Vikas Dhakne, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Special) and Deepak Tilak, Chief Advisor Rose Society of Pune.

 Mainly Solid Waste Department, Environment Centre, Pushkarani, Nisarga Sevak, Tilak Ayurveda College, Friends of Bonsai, Brahma Kumaris University College, Agriculture College etc. participated in this competition.  Organizations have participated and in this exhibition bonsai, features garden, various floral designs of Pushkarani and the concept of making eco-friendly musical instruments etc.  Citizens can see.

 On behalf of PMC CARE of Pune Municipal Corporation, on the occasion of this exhibition, citizens were urged to send selfies on PMC CARE APP after visiting the exhibition, according to this, citizens have responded enthusiastically to the 42nd Fruits, Flowers and Vegetables Exhibition 2024 group in PMC CARE APP.

 The exhibition will be open to all citizens from today till tomorrow at 9.00 pm.  Although it will remain open for all for free till midnight, all citizens should take maximum advantage of seeing the said exhibition.  Such an appeal has been made on behalf of the pmc garden Department.
