PMC Pay Roll and Pension Software – (The Karbhari News Service) – Pune Municipal Corporation employees are given pay roll and pension through online system.  But this system is very old.  So the municipality has now developed a new software.  Through that, municipal employees will not have to wait for salary and pension.  It will now gain momentum.  Interestingly, the Education Department (PMC Education Department) has also been added to it now.  It was to be started from January.  But due to technical reasons, it will be started from May.  This information was given by Additional Commissioner Ravindra Binwade IAS.  (PMC HRMS Pay Roll and Pension System)

 Pay system was made in 2013 to pay salary and pension to Pune Municipal employees.  But this system is outdated.  This is causing some problems.  Also the then Board of Education has also been included in the Municipal Corporation.  Earlier there were separate systems for municipal employees and education department salaries.  Employees had to do a lot in this.  Also, the salary was not paid on time.  Also, if there are technical difficulties in paying the salary to some employees, all the employees have to wait for the salary.  But now all these problems will be removed in the new system.  (Pune Municipal Corporation)

  Both pay roll and pension will be brought into one system.  Due to this now we have to wait for the 10th date for the salary.  It doesn’t have to be seen.  Salary will be paid on 1st of every month.  Also today retired servants have to wait for pension, that problem will also be reduced and it will help to get pension at the earliest.  Jagtap said that Bank of Maharashtra has given good help to the Municipal Corporation under CSR to make this software.  The use of this system was started on an experimental basis.

 Binawade said that complete information of the officers and employees, pay scale and allowances given accordingly, information in the service book has been uploaded on the software.  The work of uploading information of pensioners has reached the final stage.  From the last three months, the administration started this software and old method of salary on trial basis.  The errors found in this have been fixed.  Bill Clark has also been trained on this new software.  Binawade informed that the administration has decided to pay the salary for the month of April in May through this software after the new financial year starts from April 1.

 Binawade said that the software has the facility for every employee to get information about his salary bill and service book even from his mobile phone.  For this, the employee will be provided login ID through Aadhaar number and Employee ID number.  Employees will have to submit their leave applications online.  Every employee will be able to understand the current status in the service book through this software.

 The retiring employee will get information about which documents to submit, NOC of which department to get, six months in advance.  They have to submit their pension cases online themselves.  Due to this, the delay in pension cases will be reduced and the way will be paved for getting pension from the next months after retirement.  Even after May, the previous two months salary system will be continued in parallel.  Binawade informed that training will be organized for all officers and employees.
