 PMC WhatsApp ChatBot |  Property Tax Bills |  Pune Municipal Corporation has made WhatsApp Chatbot system available for the citizens.  Using this system, the Municipal Corporation has sent nearly 12 lakh Property Tax Bills to the citizens.  This has also benefited the citizens and the property tax of the Municipal Corporation has also started to be collected.  This information was given by Ajit Deshmukh, Deputy Commissioner of Property Tax Department.  (PMC WhatsApp ChatBot | Property Tax Bills)

 Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) has provided the facility of ChatBot to the citizens to resolve their queries, complaints, information about nearby health services, citizen oriented information from various departments, quickly and easily.  Using the same system, the property tax department has sent 12 lakh property tax bills.  This does not include 23 villages.  Citizens received these bills on Whatsapp.  Also, facility has been made available for payment of tax in it.  So it has become convenient for citizens to pay taxes.  Due to this, the income of the municipal corporation has also started increasing.  (PMC Pune News)

 Meanwhile, all the newly constructed residential properties in the city which have been taxed from 01.04.2019 without giving 40% discount and all the properties for which 40% discount has been given to G.I.S.  Under Survey has been canceled with effect from 01.04.2018 and such income  40% concession benefit will be given for the next period from 01.04.2023 to all properties for which difference payments have been remitted earlier.  All the above properties will be availed of 40% concession from the date of levy/amendment (i.e. residential properties for which concession is due from 01.04.2018 to 31.03.2023 but not granted) and the concession granted dt.  PT-3 application for continuation from 01.04.2023 onwards by the property holder with complete proofs dt.  It will be necessary to submit to the Taxation and Tax Collection Department before 15 November 2023.  If the property tax is paid in full by the concerned property holders, the excess amount collected will be adjusted from the payment of the financial year in equal installments for the next 4 years after filing PT-3 application.  If the application is not submitted within the prescribed period, the exemption granted for the year 2023-24 will be canceled on the assumption that the income holder is not using the property for self-consumption.  (Pune Municipal Corporation property tax)
