Pune Municipal Corporation will now buy 24 lakh sanitary napkins according to 5 2 (2)!

| 93 lakh 53 thousand approved by the standing committee

Pune – (The Karbhari News Service) – PMC Sanitary Napkins Purchasing) –  Sanitary napkins are given to girls in Pune Municipal Schools (PMC Schools). However, this year’s tender process for procurement of napkins was mired in controversy. So the process was cancelled. So according to the Municipal Act 5 2 (2) now the municipality is going to purchase 24 lakh sanitary napkins. It will cost about 94 lakhs. Sanitary napkins are provided to the students of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) schools by the municipal corporation. Lakhs of napkins are given every year. A tender process is conducted for this. This tender process was closed since the time of Kovid. was implemented. However, due to complaints about this, the Municipal Corporation canceled this tender process. However, due to this, there was a delay in getting the napkins to the girls. Therefore, the Municipal Corporation took napkins from the CSR fund. Meanwhile, after deducting the napkins received from the CSR fund, the remaining 24 lakh napkins will be purchased from Vaidya V&I Infrastructure Pvt Ltd Nagpur as per Municipal Act 5 2 (2). It is priced at Rs 3.90 per piece. The rate of the tender conducted by the Municipal Corporation was Rs 4.85. Therefore, napkins will be taken from the concerned company for two years. In this, 3 lakh 42 thousand 600 napkins will be purchased for the financial year 2023-24. The cost for this is 13 lakh 36 thousand. So for the financial year 2024-25, 20 lakh 55 thousand 600 napkins will be purchased. 80 lakh 17 thousand will be spent for this. A total cost of 93 lakh 52 thousand 980 will be incurred for this process. The proposal in this regard has been approved by the Standing Committee recently.

Pune – (The Karbhari News Service) – PMC Sanitary Napkins Purchasing) : पुणे महापालिकेच्या शाळांतील (PMC Schools) मुलींना सॅनिटरी नॅपकिन्स देण्यात येतात. मात्र याबाबतची यंदाची नॅपकिन खरेदी ची टेंडर प्रक्रिया वादाच्या भोवऱ्यात अडकली होती. त्यामुळे प्रक्रिया रद्द  करण्यात आली होती.  त्यामुळे महापालिका अधिनियम 5 2 (2) नुसार आता महापालिका 24 लाख सॅनिटरी नॅपकिन्स ची खरेदी करणार आहे. यासाठी जवळपास 94 लाख इतका खर्च येणार आहे. याबाबतच्या प्रस्तावाला स्थायी समितीने (PMC Standing Committee) नुकतीच मान्यता दिली आहे. पुणे महापालिकेच्या (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) शाळांतील विद्यार्थिनींना महापालिके कडून सॅनिटरी नॅपकिन पुरवण्यात येते. दरवर्षी लाखो नॅपकिन दिले जातात. यासाठी टेंडर प्रकिया राबवली जाते. कोविड काळापासून ही टेंडर प्रक्रिया बंद करण्यात आली होती. दरम्यान मागील वर्षी महापालिका प्रशासनाकडून नॅपकिन खरेदी ची टेंडर प्रक्रिया राबवण्यात आली. मात्र याविषयी तक्रारी करण्यात आल्याने महापालिकेने ही निविदा प्रक्रिया रद्द केली. मात्र यामुळे मुलींना नॅपकिन मिळण्यास उशीर होत होता. त्यामुळे महापालिकेने सीएसआर फंडातून नॅपकिन्स घेतल्या होत्या. तसेच काही सामाजिक संस्थांनी पालिकेला नॅपकिन्स दिले होते. दरम्यान सीएसआर फंडातून मिळणाऱ्या नॅपकिन्स वजा जाता बाकी 24 लाख नॅपकिन्स महापालिका अधिनियम 5 2 (2) नुसार वैद्य व्ही अँड आय इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर प्रा लि नागपूर यांच्याकडून खरेदी करणार आहे. त्यासाठी प्रति नग 3.90 रु इतका दर आहे. महापालिकेने राबवलेल्या टेंडरचा दर हा 4.85 रु इतका होता. त्यामुळे संबंधित कंपनी कडून दोन वर्षासाठी नॅपकिन्स घेण्यात येणार आहेत. यात आर्थिक वर्ष 2023-24 साठी 3 लाख 42 हजार 600 नॅपकिन्स खरेदी करण्यात येणार आहेत. यासाठी 13 लाख 36 हजाराचा खर्च आहे. तर आर्थिक वर्ष 2024-25 साठी 20 लाख 55 हजार 600 नॅपकिन्स ची खरेदी केली जाईल. यासाठी 80 लाख 17 हजाराचा खर्च येणार आहे. असा एकूण 93 लाख 52 हजार 980 इतका खर्च या प्रक्रियेसाठी येणार आहे. याबाबतच्या प्रस्तावाला नुकतीच स्थायी समितीने मान्यता दिली आहे.
