PMC Pune Disaster Management | It is necessary to establish a Disaster Center for emergency work and disaster management before monsoon and during monsoon. There should be an Emergency Action Center at Municipal Assistant Commissioner level for pre-monsoon and during monsoon and for disaster management. By setting up a communication system in the emergency operations center. Zonal level officers and staff should be appointed and for this a nodal officer should be appointed. The commissioner has further said that till December 31st, care should be taken to ensure that the emergency center is open 24×7 hours and staff should be appointed for this.
