PMC will provide online facility to Pune residents to fill PT 3 application

PMC PT 3 Application- (The Karbhari News Service) – Punekar citizens are currently suffering from PT 3 application filling. Many people did not get 40% of property tax due to non-filing of applications. To avoid this and to provide relief to citizens, Pune Municipal Property Tax Department is going to provide online facility for filling PT 3 application form. This assurance has been given by Deputy Commissioner Madhav Jagtap PMC. (Pune Municipal Corporation Property tax)

This assurance was given by Chief Taxation Officer Madhav Jagtap while speaking at a seminar on “Everything about Pune Municipal Property Tax” organized by Sajjan Nagarik Manch on Sunday. (Sajag Nagrik Manch)

At this time, Madhav Jagtap said, since it is not known from the bill who gets 40% discount and who does not, a note regarding this will be printed in every bill from next year. Also, since it is not known who should fill the PT 3 form, the municipality will soon publish the numbers of the properties which do not get 40% discount on its website so that those citizens can fill the PT 3 form.

Jagtap further said that complaints related to property tax of citizens will be redressed at the regional office level, so that citizens do not need to come to the municipal headquarters. If the officials at the field office level are not responding or cooperating then direct WhatsApp on Madhav Jagtap’s mobile. The municipality will soon facilitate the filling of PT 3 from online. Jagtap further said that FAQs will be published on the website of the Municipal Corporation to clear the common queries of citizens regarding property tax.
