Only two officers left in the race for the post of PMC Additional Municipal Commissioner!

Pune Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner |  Pune |  Now only two officials are left in the race for the post of Municipal Additional Commissioner.
According to seniority, City Engineers were to have priority for the post.  But Prashant Waghmare (City Engineer Prashant Waghmare) and Chief Engineer (Shrinivas Bonala PMC) Shrinivas Bonala have given a written letter and informed that they are not interested.  So now Chief Account and Finance Officer Ulka Kalaskar (Chief Account and Finance Officer Ulka Kalaskar) and Chief Engineer Shrinivas Kandul (Shrinivas Kandul PMC) will now have a fight.  Meanwhile, a meeting of the promotion committee was organized by the government yesterday for this purpose.  But this meeting was cancelled.  Now the next meeting will decide about the post.  This was said by the administration.  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)
The post of Additional Commissioner PMC of Pune Municipal Corporation was discussed for almost an hour in the last promotion committee (DPC) meeting.  However, the decision as to who should be the additional commissioner has been reserved.  This decision will be taken after clarifying the provisions regarding the post.  Accordingly, the next meeting of the committee was to be decided by the state government itself.  Accordingly, a meeting was held on Tuesday.  But that meeting could not take place.
The discussion regarding the post of Pune Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner has started once again.  This post had escaped from the hands of the Municipal Corporation Officers (PMC Officers) when they were entitled to it in the past.  This post is going to be vacant for some time.  Municipal officer will come to this post through promotion.  Officers are getting qualified for this.  The Municipal General Administration Department has sent the list of these officers to the State Government.  These included City Engineer Prashant Waghmare, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Ulka Kalaskar, Chief Engineer (Projects) Srinivas Bonala and Chief Engineer of Electricity Department Srinivas Kandul.
The state government has reserved one post of additional commissioner in the municipal corporation for municipal officers.  A decision was also taken in that regard.  Accordingly, Suresh Jagtap got the honor of being the first Additional Commissioner.  After that, Dnyaneshwar Molak, Vilas Kanade got a chance.  Kanade retired.  So it was clear.  Accordingly, this appointment will be made as per Municipal Act, Service Rules and Seniority.  Many were eligible for this.  But the state government has not given this post to municipal officers but has given the post of government officer in the form of Vikas Dhakne.  Therefore, this post had escaped from the hands of municipal authorities.  (PMC Pune)
 |  Written letter from Prashant Waghmare and Bonala
Meanwhile, two of the four qualified officers have withdrawn.   City Engineer Prashant Waghmare and Chief Engineer Srinivas Bonala have given such a written letter.  Waghmare has said that he is not interested in non-technical work.  So I am not interested in this post.  Bonala has also given a written letter that he is not interested in the post.  So now someone from both Kalaskar and Kandul is going to be an additional commissioner.  It is almost certain.
 |  Srinivas Kandul has already complained to the government
It is seen that intense lobbying is going on in Pune Municipal Corporation regarding the post of Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation.  Because Chief Engineer Shrinivas Kandul of Electricity Department has written a letter to the Chief Secretary of the state.  In it he has claimed that my seniority is superior to that of the Chief Accountant.  So this post should be given to me.  Kandul has made such a demand.

PMC Pune Building Permission |  Strange administration of Pune Municipal Corporation | Construction permission for 16-storey building in Blue flood Line!

 |  Objection registered by social workers

PMC Pune Building Permission |  The social activists of the Pune city have demanded the immediate demolition of the Blue Scape project, a 16-storey high-rise building project built in the Mutha Riverbed at Anandnagar, Sinhgadh Road and coming under the Blue Flood Line.  As many as 23 activists have given a letter to Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar (PMC commissioner Vikram Kumar) in this regard.  On the other hand, the Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) has said that we have not violated any environmental norms.  Interestingly, the Irrigation Department (Pune) has also objected to this.  (PMC Pune Building permission)
Activist Sarang Yadwadkar has alleged that the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) approved the plan and gave building permission to the developer despite the Irrigation Department providing the flood line maps showing the location of the building in the Blue Flood Line area.  (PMC Pune News)
The blue flood line shows the highest water level in 25 years.
Yadwadkar demanded the formation of a committee to find out if any more construction permission has been obtained on the site of Blue flood line area.  (Pune Municipal Corporation News)
Anandnagar area, which is a part of Vitthalwadi-Hingane Gram Panchayat, had a large number of unauthorized constructions before it was merged with the Municipal Corporation.  But the area was ruined due to frequent floods.  Eventually, a protective wall had to be built on the banks of the river to protect the lives of the citizens.  The site of this new building is close to the site of the bridge over Mutha River behind Sun City.
Activist Aseem Sarode said that in the interest of public safety, the municipal corporation must demolish the building.  Apart from this, the local self-government body should compensate the developers and the buyers of the flats in that building.
President of Sajag Nagrik Manch Vivek Velankar said that the Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) should not issue a completion certificate to stop the project.  Otherwise, lives and property of citizens are at risk.  Velankar also said that action must be taken against all the municipal officials who gave permission for construction after inquiry to determine the responsibility.
City Engineer Prashant Waghmare said, “The building is not in the blue line.  The construction permission granted to the project is valid and in order.”

 | These are the demands

  • Cancel the construction permission given to Blue Scape
  • Suspend all PMC officials involved in granting construction permission and initiate inquiry against them
  • Compensate developers and flat buyers
  • Form a committee to find out if building permits have been granted at other Blue Line sites
  • Take all necessary actions to ensure the safety of life and property of citizens and to protect the environment
