 Disaster management training for 2250 security guards in Pune Municipal Corporation!

 PMC Security Department |  Disaster Management |  Training and demonstration has been organized for the employees of PMC Security Department through PMC Fire Department and Disaster Management Cell of Pune Municipal Corporation.  A total of 2250 personnel including 1562 private security guards, security guards from Education Board and permanent security guards from Security Department were trained for this programme.  This information was given by security officer Rakesh Vitkar (Rakesh Vitkar PMC).  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)
 This training has been organized to provide information about disaster to the security guards of Pune Municipal Corporation.  This training will be conducted from January 29 to February 20.  60 employees are trained every day from 10 am to 5 pm in the old GB Hall of the Municipal Corporation.  Officials from fire brigade, disaster management force as well as officers from Yashda are involved in imparting this training.  At the same time, the security personnel are also being made aware of their rights and duties on behalf of security officer Rakesh Vitkar.  (Pune PMC News)

PMC Fire Department warns punekar… If buildings and establishments do not have a fire system…!

 PMC Fire Department |  It is mandatory to take necessary fire prevention measures in any building or part thereof and keep them in operation.  If there is no such fire system, an appeal has been made on behalf of Pune Municipal Fire Brigade (Pune Fire Brigade).  Otherwise, the citizens will be responsible if there is any accident, Chief Fire Officer of Pune Devendra Potfode has warned.  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)
 The ‘Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Saving Measures Act, 2006’ Act throughout Maharashtra
 It is mandatory to take necessary fire prevention measures in any building or part thereof as per Section 3 (1) of the Act, to keep them in operation and to submit to the Chief Fire Officer a certificate in the prescribed form from a licensed agency as per Section 3 (3)  It belongs to the owner of the building or the occupant using it.  (Pune PMC News)
 All the citizens and establishments in the Pune Municipal Corporation area (e.g. high-rise residential buildings,
 cinema halls, theatres, hospitals, educational, commercial business complexes, malls, star hotels, large commercial offices etc.) are informed that the fire prevention and life protection measures they have installed in their buildings as specified in section 3 sub-section (1)  Measures to be kept in operation and in good condition and certificate in prescribed form from the licensed agency (Form-B) to the Chief Fire Officer twice a year in the months of January and July Office of the Chief Fire Officer, Central Fire Station, Mahatma Phule Peth, New Timber Market, Pune-411042  should be submitted here.  It should be noted that if the said (Form-B) is not submitted in time and if any accident happens in the future, all the responsibility will remain with the owner of that building or the occupant using it.
 In this case, if Form “B” is not submitted regarding the fire prevention measures in good condition within the prescribed period, the water of the said establishments of the buildings which are not safe in terms of fire fighting as per Section 8 (2), Rule 11 (1) of the ‘Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Protection Measures Act, 2006’  Recommending action like disconnection of supply and power supply will be in order.
 The list of licensed agents is available on the website maharashtrafireservice.gov.in.
 Also those buildings which do not have the required fire fighting system will get license immediately
 The certificate should be obtained from the agency and submitted in person to the fire department office within the prescribed period or sent to formbpmcfire@gmail.com.
 Always available fire fighting system in buildings for citizens to prevent their life and financial loss
 Proper precautions should be taken to ensure that it remains in good condition and functioning.  Municipal Corporation  The fire brigade has made this appeal.

PMC Fire Department | इमारतींना आणि आस्थापनांना फायर यंत्रणा नसेल तर …! पुणे महापालिकेच्या अग्निशमन दलाचा नागरिकांना इशारा

PMC Fire Department | कोणत्याही इमारतीमध्ये किंवा तिच्या भागामध्ये आवश्यक असणाऱ्या आग प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना करणे, त्या कार्यान्वित ठेवणे बंधनकारक आहे. तशी फायर यंत्रणा नसेल तर बसवून घ्यावी, असे आवाहन पुणे महापालिकेच्या अग्निशमन दलाच्या (Pune Fire Brigade) वतीने करण्यात आले आहे. अन्यथा काही दुर्घटना झाली तर त्याला नागरिक जबाबदार असतील, असा इशारा मुख्य अग्निशमन  अधिकारी देवेंद्र पोटफोडे (Chief Fire officer of Pune Devendra Potfode) यांच्या वतीने देण्यात आला आहे. ‘महाराष्ट्र आग प्रतिबंधक व जीव संरक्षक उपाययोजना अधिनियम, २००६’ हा कायदा संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात लागू असून अधिनियमातील कलम ३ ( १ ) प्रमाणे कोणत्याही इमारतीमध्ये किंवा तिच्या भागामध्ये आवश्यक असणाऱ्या आग प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना करणे, त्या कार्यान्वित ठेवणे तसेच कलम ३ ( ३ ) नुसार, लायसेन्स प्राप्त एजन्सीकडील विहित नमुन्यातील प्रमाणपत्र मुख्य अग्निशमन अधिकारी यांचेकडे सादर करणे बंधनकारक आहे व याची संपूर्ण जबाबदारी ही त्या इमारतीचा मालक किंवा तिचा वापर करणारा भोगवटादार यांची आहे. पुणे महानगरपालिका क्षेत्रातील तमाम नागरिकांना व आस्थापनांना जसे ( उदा. उंच निवासी इमारती, सिनेमा हॉल्स, नाट्यगृह, रुग्णालये, शैक्षणिक, वाणिज्यिक व्यापारी संकुले, मॉल्स, तारांकित हॉटेल्स, मोठी व्यावसायिक कार्यालये इत्यादी ) कळविण्यात आले आहे कि, आग प्रतिबंधक व जीव संरक्षक उपाययोजना कलम ३ पोट कलम ( १ ) मध्ये विनिर्धिष्ट केल्याप्रमाणे त्यांनी त्यांच्या इमारतीमध्ये बसविलेल्या आग प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना कार्यान्वित व सुस्थितीत ठेवावी व याबाबतचे लायसेन्स प्राप्त एजन्सीकडील विहित नमुन्यातील प्रमाणपत्र ( फॉर्म – बी ) मुख्य अग्निशमन अधिकारी यांना वर्षातून दोन वेळा जानेवारी आणि जुलै या महिन्यांमध्ये मुख्य अग्निशमन अधिकारी कार्यालय, मध्यवर्ती अग्निशमन केंद्र, महात्मा फुले पेठ, न्यू टिंबर मार्केट, पुणे-४११०४२ या ठिकाणी सादर करावे. सदर ( फॉर्म – बी) वेळेत सादर न केल्यास व भविष्यात काही दुर्घटना घडल्यास त्याबाबतची सर्व जबाबदारी त्या इमारतीचा मालक किंवा तिचा वापर करणारा भोगवटादार यांची राहील याची नोंद घ्यावी.
या प्रकरणी विहित मुदतीत आग प्रतिबंधक उपाययोजना सुस्थितीत असले बाबतचा फॉर्म “बी” सादर न केल्यास ‘महाराष्ट्र आग प्रतिबंधक व जीव संरक्षक उपाययोजना अधिनियम, २००६’ च्या कलम ८ (२), नियम ११ ( १) नुसार अग्निशमनाच्या दृष्टीने सुरक्षित नसणाऱ्या इमारतींचा सदर आस्थापनांचा पाणी पुरवठा व विद्युत पुरवठा बंद करण्यासारखी कारवाई करण्याची शिफारस करणे क्रमप्राप्त राहील. लायसेन्स प्राप्त अभिकरणांची यादी maharashtrafireservice.gov.in या वेबसाईटवर उपलब्ध आहे.
तसेच ज्या इमारतींमध्ये आवश्यक असणारी अग्निशमन यंत्रणा बसवलेली नाही त्यांनी तत्काळ लायसेन्स प्राप्त एजन्सीकडून बसवून घेऊन त्यानुसार प्रमाणपत्र विहित कालावधीत अग्निशमन दलाच्या कार्यालयात प्रत्यक्ष सादर करावे अथवा formbpmcfire@gmail.com या इमेलवर पाठवावे.
नागरिकांनी आपली जिवित व वित्तहानी रोखण्यासाठी इमारतींमधील उपलब्ध अग्निशमन यंत्रणा नेहमीच सुस्थितीत व कार्यान्वित राहील याची योग्य ती खबरदारी घेऊन कार्यवाही करावी. महानगरपालिका अग्निशमन दलाने हे आवाहन केले आहे.

पुणे – यावर्षी पहिल्यांदाच पुणे अग्निशमन दल (PUNE FIRE BRIGADE) व फायर अँन्ड सिक्युरिटी असोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (FSAI) यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमानाने शहरातील गणेशोत्सवाच्या काळात गणपती मंडळांनी आपले मंडळ आगीपासून सुरक्षित कसे आहे व त्याकरिता मंडळे काय उपाययोजना करतात याबाबत “अग्निसुरक्षित गणेश मंडळ” म्हणून एक स्पर्धा घेण्याचे ठरविले असून त्यामागचे उदिष्ट असे की, गणेशोत्सवाच्या काळात शक्यतो मंडळाच्या ठिकाणी कुठेही आग वा अपघात घडू नये याबाबत जागरूक राहून येणारे असंख्य भाविक यांची ही सुरक्षितता कायम राहावी. त्याबाबत सार्वजनिक मंडळांनी नोंदणी (GOOGLE FORM) करण्याचे आवाहन अग्निशमन दलाचे प्रमुख देवेंद्र पोटफोडे (Devendra Potphode) यांनी केले आहे.

अग्निशमन दल व एफएसएआय (FSAI) संयुक्तरित्या पुढाकार घेऊन शहरात आग व अपघातापासून मंडळे सुरक्षित कशी राहावीत आणि जनमानसात याबाबत जागृती व्हावी या दृष्टीकोनातून हि संकल्पना साकारली आहे. मंडळांनी नोंदणीच्या करतेवेळी दिलेल्या अर्जामधे माहिती भरुन दिल्यावर त्याची छाननी होऊन अग्निशमन दलाकडील अग्निशमन अधिकारी आणि एफएसएआय संस्थेचे सदस्य हे प्रत्यक्ष मंडळांना भेटी देऊन पाहणी करतील व त्यानंतर प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय क्रमांक असे बक्षीस जाहिर केले जाईल. तरी शहरातील जास्तीत जास्त मंडळाने सहभाग घ्यावा यासाठी आवाहन केले जात आहे.

Pune Fire Audit | पुणे शहरात (Pune Fire) आगीच्या घटनांचे प्रमाण वाढताना दिसते आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर पालकमंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटील (Guardian Minister Chandrakant patil) यांनी शहरातील वर्दळीच्या भागांचे तसेच अशाप्रकारच्या अरुंद भागांचे फायर ऑडिट (Fire audit in pune) करण्याचे निर्देश महापालिका (Pune Municipal corporation) आणि अग्निशमन विभागाला (PMC pune Fire brigade) दिले आहेत. काही दिवसांपूर्वी पुणे येथील टिंबर मार्केटमध्ये (Timber Market Pune) फर्निचर गोदामात भीषण आग लागून मोठ्या प्रमाणात नुकसान झाले होते. कालही मध्यरात्री मार्केट यार्ड (Market Yard) मधील कागद आणि पुठ्ठा साठवणुक असणाऱ्या गोदामाला आग लागल्याची माहिती मिळाली. सध्या या आगीवर नियंत्रण मिळवण्यात अग्निशमन दलाला (pune fire brigade) यश आले आहे. वारंवार घडणाऱ्या घटनांची दखल घेऊन, शहरातील वर्दळीच्या भागांचे तसेच अशाप्रकारच्या अरुंद भागांचे फायर ऑडिट करण्याचे निर्देश पालकमंत्री चंद्रकांत पाटील यांनी महापालिका आणि अग्निशमन विभागाला दिले आहेत.  (Pune News)
