Sources of the Municipal Corporation gave this information. Last year also, the municipal corporation hired 100 security guards.

A large number of unauthorized constructions are taking place in the city of Pune and it is necessary to evict them.
At the same time, encroachments on the footpath are increasing and it is necessary to remove them as per the traffic planning. Pune Municipal Corporation is an “A” class municipal corporation and is included in the Smart City. Also, as 11 villages and 23 new villages have been included in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) earlier, the area of ​​Pune Municipal Corporation has increased. Candidates who are on the waiting list in the police recruitment process of the state government are given an opportunity to work as security guards. These candidates are recruited by the State Security Corporation on contract basis.

 The additional charge of the post of Chief Security Officer was earlier given to Deputy Commissioner Madhav Jagtap (PMC).  Madhav Jagtap has the basic responsibility of Encroachment and Unauthorized Construction Eradication Department.  Recently, Jagtap has been given additional charge of taxation and tax collection department.  Because Ajit Deshmukh has been transferred by the government.  Therefore, now the responsibility of the post of Chief Security Officer has been entrusted to Deputy Commissioner Pratibha Patil by the administration.  Patil currently has the responsibility of Land Acquisition and Management Department.

मुख्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी पदाचा अतिरिक्त पदभार या आधी उपायुक्त माधव जगताप (Madhav Jagtap PMC) यांच्याकडे सोपवण्यात आला होता. माधव जगताप यांच्याकडे मूळ जबाबदारी ही अतिक्रमण आणि अनधिकृत बांधकाम निर्मूलन विभागाची आहे. नुकताच जगताप यांच्याकडे कर आकारणी व कर संकलन विभागाचा अतिरिक्त पदभार देण्यात आला आहे. कारण अजित देशमुख यांची सरकारकडून बदली करण्यात आली आहे. त्यामुळे आता मुख्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी पदाची जबाबदारी प्रशासनाकडून उपायुक्त प्रतिभा पाटील यांच्याकडे सोपवण्यात आली आहे. पाटील यांच्याकडे सद्यस्थितीत भूसंपादन व व्यवस्थापन विभागाची जबाबदारी आहे.

 Disaster management training for 2250 security guards in Pune Municipal Corporation!

 PMC Security Department |  Disaster Management |  Training and demonstration has been organized for the employees of PMC Security Department through PMC Fire Department and Disaster Management Cell of Pune Municipal Corporation.  A total of 2250 personnel including 1562 private security guards, security guards from Education Board and permanent security guards from Security Department were trained for this programme.  This information was given by security officer Rakesh Vitkar (Rakesh Vitkar PMC).  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)
 This training has been organized to provide information about disaster to the security guards of Pune Municipal Corporation.  This training will be conducted from January 29 to February 20.  60 employees are trained every day from 10 am to 5 pm in the old GB Hall of the Municipal Corporation.  Officials from fire brigade, disaster management force as well as officers from Yashda are involved in imparting this training.  At the same time, the security personnel are also being made aware of their rights and duties on behalf of security officer Rakesh Vitkar.  (Pune PMC News)

PMC Security Department | Disaster Management | पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या अग्निशमन दल (PMC Fire Department) आणि आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन विभागामार्फत (PMC Disaster Management Cell) सुरक्षा विभागातील (PMC Security Department) कर्मचाऱ्यांकरिता प्रशिक्षण आणि प्रात्यक्षिक आयोजित करण्यात आले आहे. या कार्यक्रमासाठी 1562 खाजगी सुरक्षा रक्षक, शिक्षण मंडळा कडील  सुरक्षा रक्षक आणि सुरक्षा विभाग कार्याकडील कायम पदावर काम करणारे सुरक्षारक्षक असे एकूण 2250 कर्मचाऱ्यांना  प्रशिक्षण देण्यात आले. अशी माहिती सुरक्षा अधिकारी राकेश विटकर (Rakesh Vitkar PMC) यांनी दिली. पुणे महापालिकेतील सुरक्षा रक्षकांना आपत्ती विषयक माहिती देण्यासाठी या प्रशिक्षणाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. 29 जानेवारी ते 20 फेब्रुवारी पर्यंत हे प्रशिक्षण चालणार आहे.  महानगरपालिकेच्या जुन्या जीबी हॉलमध्ये दररोज सकाळी दहा ते सायंकाळी पाच वाजेपर्यंत 60 कर्मचाऱ्यांना प्रशिक्षण दिले जाते. हे प्रशिक्षण देण्यासाठी अग्निशमन दलातील अधिकारी, आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन दलातील अधिकारी त्याचप्रमाणे यशदा मधील अधिकारी सहभागी असतात. त्याचबरोबर सुरक्षा अधिकारी राकेश विटकर यांच्या वतीने सुरक्षा कर्मचाऱ्यांना त्यांचे अधिकार व कर्तव्य यांची देखील जाणीव करून देण्यात येत आहे.  PMC Pune Transgender Employees |  25 PMC Transgender Employees have been inducted as contractual employees in the service of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).  With the aim of mainstreaming third-party persons, third-party persons have been employed on an experimental basis to protect the income of the Municipal Corporation. However, the problem of housing for these employees has not been solved. They are not given a house on rent in the city. Therefore, these employees will be provided flats from the Municipal Corporation’s Chal department. The proposal in this regard is  Security Officer Rakesh Vitkar (PMC Pune Transgender Employees) said that it will be kept for the approval of the Commissioner on behalf of the Security Department.
 The Municipal Corporation has given employment to the transgenders.  This includes PhD, MTech, B.Sc.  The said third parties have been appointed at places like Kamla Nehru Hospital, Vehicle Depot, Manpa Bhawan of Pune Municipal Corporation.  A public awareness campaign will be implemented to maintain harmony and social affection between municipal staff officers and third-class workers by forming a committee of charitable organizations working for the third-class class in the city.  In the future, it is resolved to bring people from the third class into the mainstream of the society and implement people-oriented activities for them and accordingly the action has been started.  (Pune Municipal Corporation News)
 In this regard, a review meeting of the transgenders employees working in the security department of the Pune Municipal Corporation was held recently.  In the review meeting, these third parties narrated their experience during the last eight months.  Accordingly, he also raised some difficulties.  Additional Municipal Commissioner Vikas Dhakne has announced to provide a separate ward for treatment at Kamla Nehru Hospital Mangalwar Peth on behalf of the Municipal Corporation.  Similarly, he mentioned that some third parties need medical help for hormone injections.  Similarly, they have demanded that all these third parties should get the flats available in the Chal sections of the Municipal Corporation for their accommodation.  Accordingly, the municipality is positive about providing flats.  The proposal in this regard will be placed before the Municipal Commissioner.

PMC Pune Transgender Employees | पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या (Pune municipal corporation (PMC) सेवेत 25 तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींना (PMC Transgender Employees) कंत्राटी सेवक  म्हणून रुजू करून घेण्यात आले आहे.  पुणे महानगरपालिकेचा (PMC Pune) एक पुरोगामी पाउल उचलण्याचा मानस असून समाजातील सर्वच वर्गाना नागरिक हक्क कायद्यानुसार समानतेची वागणूक मिळावी. या उद्देशाने तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींना मुख्य प्रवाहात आणणे कामी मनपाच्या मिळकतीचे संरक्षणार्थ प्रायोगिक तत्वावर तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींना कामावर घेतले गेले आहे. मात्र या कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या घरांचा प्रश्न सुटलेला नाही. त्यांना शहरात भाड्याने घर दिले जात नाही. त्यामुळे या कमर्चाऱ्यांना महापालिकेच्या चाळ विभागाकडील सदनिका उपलब्ध करून दिल्या जाणार आहेत. याबाबतचा प्रस्ताव सुरक्षा विभागाच्या वतीने आयुक्तांच्या मान्यतेसाठी ठेवला जाणार आहे. अशी माहिती सुरक्षा अधिकारी राकेश विटकर (Rakesh Vitkar PMC) यांनी दिली. महापालिकेने तृतीय पंथीयांना नोकरी दिली आहे.  यामध्ये पीएचडी, एमटेक, बीएस्सी शिक्षण झालेल्या तृतीय पंथियांचा समावेश आहे. पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या कमला नेहरू हॉस्पिटल, व्हेईकल डेपो, मनपा भवन अशा ठिकाणी सदरच्या तृतीयपंथी व्यक्तींना नेमणूक दिली आहे. शहरातील तृतीयपंथीय वर्गासाठी काम करण्याऱ्या सेवाभावी संस्थांचे कमिटी तयार करून मनपा कर्मचारी अधिकारी व तृतीयपंथी कामगार याच्यात सलोख्याचे व सामाजिक स्नेह राहावं यासाठी जनजागृती अभियान राबविले जाणार आहे. भविष्यात तृतीयपंथीय व्यक्तींना समाजाच्या मुख्य प्रवाहात आणून त्यांच्याकरिता लोकाभिमुख उपक्रम राबविण्याचा संकल्प असून त्यानुसार कार्यवाही सुरू करण्यात आलेली आहे.  (Pune Municipal Corporation News)

त्या दृष्टीने पुणे महानगरपालिकेतील सुरक्षा विभागात काम करणाऱ्या तृतीय पंथीय कर्मचाऱ्यांची नुकतीच आढावा बैठक पार पडली.  आढावा बैठकीमध्ये या तृतीयपंथीयांनी त्यांचा गेल्या आठ महिन्यातील अनुभव कथन केला. त्याचनुसार काही अडचणी देखील त्यांनी मांडल्या. त्यांच्याकरिता महानगरपालिकेच्या वतीने कमला नेहरू हॉस्पिटल मंगळवार पेठ येथे उपचाराकरिता एक स्वतंत्र  वार्डउपलब्ध करून देण्याचे अतिरिक्त महापालिका आयुक्त विकास ढाकणे यांनी जाहीर केले आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे काही तृतीयपंथीयांना हार्मोनचे इंजेक्शन करिता वैद्यकीय मदत हवी असल्याचे त्यांनी नमूद केले. त्याचप्रमाणे या सर्व तृतीयपंथीयांना निवासाकरिता महानगरपालिकेकडील चाळ विभागांमध्ये उपलब्ध असणाऱ्या सदनिका मेळाव्यात असे त्यांनी मागणी केलेली आहे. त्यानुसार सदनिका देण्याबाबत महापालिका सकारात्मक आहे. त्याबाबतचा प्रस्ताव महापालिका आयुक्त यांच्यासमोर ठेवला जाणार आहे.

मात्र यातील काही सेवकांवर फौजदारी गुन्हे दाखल झाले आहेत. तरीही त्यांना सेवाज्येष्ठता यादीत पात्र करण्यात आले. असा आक्षेप काही कर्मचाऱ्यांनी घेतला आहे. याबाबत प्रशासनाकडून स्पष्टीकरण देण्यात आले आहे. त्यानुसार सेवाज्येष्ठता यादी प्रसिद्ध करताना सेवाभारती नियमावलीचा आधार घेतला जातो. त्यात असे म्हटले आहे कि जे सद्यस्थितीत शिक्षा भोगत आहेत किंवा ज्यांची विभागीय चौकशी सुरु आहे, त्यांनाच अपात्र करता येते. फक्त गुन्हा दाखल आहे म्हणून त्यांना अपात्र करता येत नाही. त्यामुळे यादीत संबंधित लोकांना पात्र केले आहे. तरीही अंतिम निर्णय हा पदोन्नती समितीचा असतो. काही तक्रारी आल्या तर आम्ही त्या समिती समोर ठेवणार. समितीला वाटले संबंधित कर्मचारी दोषी आहे तर समिती कारवाई करू शकते. त्यामुळे अंतिम निवडीचा अधिकार हा पदोन्नती समितीचाच असणार आहे.

 सुरक्षा अधिकारी (वर्ग-२) या पदाकरिता सेवकांकडून अर्ज मागविण्यात आले होते. प्राप्त झालेल्या अर्जांमधील तपशीलानुसार पात्र/अपात्र सेवकांची तयार
करण्यात आलेली सेवाज्येष्ठता यादी प्रसिध्द करण्यात येत आहे. सदरची सेवाज्येष्ठता यादी पुणे
महानगरपालिकेच्या www.punecorporation.org या संकेतस्थळावरील परिपत्रक प्रणालीवर (PMC Website Circular System) प्रसिध्द करण्यात आली आहे. सेवाज्येष्ठता यादीतील सेवक/कर्मचारी यांनी स्वतःचे नांव, जात, जातीचा गट, शैक्षणिक पात्रता, जन्मदिनांक, नेमणूकीचे दिनांक इ. सर्व बाबींची पाहणी करुन आपल्या नावांसमोर स्वाक्षरी करावी. असे आदेश अतिरिक्त आयुक्त रविंद्र बिनवडे यांनी जारी केले आहेत. पात्र/अपात्र सेवाज्येष्ठता यादीमध्ये घेण्यात आलेल्या नोंदीबाबत काही आक्षेप/चुका असल्यास ७ दिवसाचे मुदतीत आपले आक्षेप लेखी स्वरुपात, कागदपत्रांच्या पुराव्यासहीत आस्थापना विभाग, पुणे महानगरपालिका, मुख्य इमारत येथे कार्यालयीन वेळेत सादर करावे. त्यानुसार सदरच्या नोंदी घेवून व सदर पदाकरिता सुधारीत सेवाप्रवेश नियमामध्ये नमूद प्रमाणे उमेदवारांची शारिरीक तपासणीच्या अधीन राहून अंतिम पात्र सेवकांची सेवाजेष्ठता सूचीस मान्यता घेवून ती प्रसिध्द करण्यात येईल. तसेच मुदतीनंतर आलेल्या आक्षेपांचा किंवा अंतिम पात्र सेवकांची सेवाजेष्ठता यादी प्रसिध्द केल्यानंतर त्यामध्ये दुरुस्त्या सुचविण्यात आल्यास त्यांची दखल घेतली जाणार नाही व संबंधित सेवक/कर्मचारी यांचे शैक्षणिक अर्हतेच्या कागदपत्राबाबत तक्रार आल्यास व त्यामध्ये तथ्य आढळल्यास संबंधित सेवक/कर्मचारी यांची नेमणूक कोणत्याही टप्प्यावर संपुष्टात आणणेबाबत आलाहीदा निर्णय घेण्यात येईल. असे आदेशात म्हटले आहे.
