Establishment and manpower in Pune and Khadki Cantonment Board will be transferred to Pune Municipal Corporation!

 Pune and Khadki Cantonment Board in PMC limit – (The Karbhari News Service) – The process of merging Pune and Khadki Cantonment Board (Pune Cantonment Board and Khadaki Cantonment Board) with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has started.  Excluding the army and central institutions, the residential areas of the cantonment will be included in the Pune Municipal Corporation.  Meanwhile, the establishment and manpower of both these boards will be transferred to Pune Municipal Corporation.  Pune Municipal Corporation has started the process in this regard.  Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Patil (Mahesh Patil PMC) has given orders in this regard to all the departments of the Municipal Corporation.
 There are 62 cantonment boards of the army in different states of the country.  Now the central government is thinking of abolishing the cantonment board and including the civilian settlements in the municipalities and keeping the areas under the control of the army as exclusive military stations.  The process for this has been initiated by the Central and concerned State Governments.  Due to this, millions of hectares of land under the control of the army will be taken over by the municipal corporation and will be opened for development.  A committee headed by Lt.  Meanwhile, according to the notification of the Central Government i.e. the Defense Department, regarding the transfer of the civil area in the Cuttack Mandal to the affiliated local bodies on March 4, the Joint Secretary, Defense
 Ministry, Government of India along with Chief Executive Officer, Pune Cantonment Board, Khadki Cantonment
 Board and  Municipal Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation held a joint meeting through video conferencing
 had come  In this meeting, the Defense Department had instructed to provide all the information of Khadki/Pune Cantonment Board to the Pune Municipal Corporation.  Accordingly, Pune Cantonment Board held a joint meeting at Pune Sub Area on 13th March and made a presentation.
  As per the presentation, coordination of various departments is required for transfer of establishment / manpower to civil area attached local bodies in Cuttack Mandal as per notification of Defense Department.  As per the presentation of Pune Cantonment Board, it is necessary to get the establishment / manpower transferred to various departments of the Municipal Corporation from the concerned.  Therefore, in coordination with the Pune Cantonment Board, the information about the resources transferred to your department, establishment / manpower and the issues of your department should be prepared.  Physical inspection should be done as required.  Such orders have been given by Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Patil.
 Cantonment Board of Maharashtra
 There are seven Cantonment Boards in Maharashtra namely Pune, Khadki, Dehu Road, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Deolali (Nashik) and Nagpur.  The process of including all these seven Cantonment Boards in the limits of local municipalities will be started in a phased manner.  (Cantonment Board)
 62 Cantonment Boards and lakhs of hectares of land
 There are 62 Cantonment Boards in different states of the country.  These Cantonment Boards are in possession of one lakh sixty thousand acres of land.  More than 50 lakh population lives in these cantonment boards.  Private property within the cantonment limits is also under the control of the army.  A lease is also entered into by the Army with the original owners every few years.  FSI for development works and construction within cantonment limits has been restricted due to security concerns of military offices.  (Pune News)

या पत्रकार परिषदेला माजी आमदार, प्रदेश कॉंग्रेसचे उपाध्यक्ष मोहन जोशी (Mohan Joshi Pune Congress)आणि आमदार रविंद्र धंगेकर (MLA Ravindra Dhangekar) उपस्थित होते.

पत्रकार परिषदेला दत्ता बहिरट यांच्यासोबत माजी आमदार, प्रदेश कॉंग्रेसचे उपाध्यक्ष मोहन जोशी आणि आमदार रविंद्र धंगेकर उपस्थित होते.

नगरसेवक या नात्याने  २० एप्रिल २०१२ रोजी आशानगर टाकीचे काम सुचविले. टाकीसाठी आशा नगर हौसिंग सोसायटी यांच्याशी संवाद साधून विनामोबदला जागा मिळवून दिली. नंतर सातत्याने पाठपुरावा केला, सर्व प्रकारच्या मंजुरी मिळविल्या. माता रमाई बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर जलकुंभ असे नाव निश्चित केले,अशी माहिती बहिरट यांनी दिली. भाजपचे स्थानिक आमदार केवळ श्रेय उपटू पहात आहेत, असा आरोप बहिरट यांनी केला.

आशानगर आणि परिसरातील पाण्याचा प्रश्न सुटावा याकरिता दत्ता बहिरट यांनी सन २०१रपासून अथक प्रयत्न केले. वीस लाख लिटर्स क्षमतेची टाकी झाली आणि आता भाजपचे स्थानिक आमदार आयत्या बिळावर रेघोट्या मारत पालकमंत्र्यांच्या हस्ते २६ तारखेला उदघाटन करीत आहेत, हा प्रकार निषेधार्ह आहे, असे मोहन जोशी यांनी यावेळी बोलताना सांगितले.

टाकी उभारणी कामाचे श्रेय बहिरट यांचे मान्य करावे, त्यांना डावलू नये अशी विनंती पालकमंत्री अजित पवार यांना केली आहे. या उपरही टाकी उदघाटन कार्यक्रम होणार असेल तर कॉंग्रेस कार्यकर्ते दि. २६ रोजी सकाळी ११ वाजता करतील, असे आमदार रवि धंगेकर यांनी सांगितले.
