Prime Minister’s participation in the 20th ASEAN-India Summit and the 18th East Asia Summit

             |   Prime Minister attended the 20th ASEAN-India Summit and the 18th East Asia Summit (EAS) in Jakarta on 7 September 2023.

At the ASEAN-India Summit, Prime Minister held extensive discussions with ASEAN partners on further strengthening of ASEAN-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and charting its future course. Prime Minister reaffirmed ASEAN centrality in the Indo-Pacific and highlighted the synergies between India’s Indo-Pacific Ocean’s Initiative (IPOI) and ASEAN’s Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP). He also emphasized the need to complete the review of ASEAN-India FTA (AITIGA) in a time bound manner.

Prime Minister presented a 12-point proposal for strengthening India – ASEAN cooperation covering connectivity, digital transformation, trade and economic engagement, addressing contemporary challenges, people-to-people contacts and deepening strategic engagement, as follows:

• Establishing multi-modal connectivity and economic corridor that links South-East Asia-India-West Asia-Europe

• Offered to share India’s Digital Public Infrastructure Stack with ASEAN partners

• Announced ASEAN-India fund for Digital Future focusing on cooperation in digital transformation and financial connectivity

• Announced renewal of support to Economic and Research Institute of ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) to act as knowledge partner for enhancing our engagement.

• Called for collectively raising issues being faced by Global South in multilateral fora

• Invited ASEAN countries to join Global Centre for Traditional Medicine being established by WHO in India

• Called for working together on Mission LiFE

• Offered to share India’s experience in providing affordable and quality medicines to people through Jan-Aushadhi Kendras

• Called for collective fight against terrorism, terror financing and cyber-disinformation

• Invited ASEAN countries to join Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure

• Called for cooperation in disaster management 

• Called for enhanced cooperation on maritime safety, security and domain awareness

Two Joint Statements, one on Maritime Cooperation, and the other on Food Security were adopted. 

In addition to India and ASEAN Leaders, Timor-Leste participated in the Summit as Observor.

At the 18th East Asia Summit, Prime reiterated the importance of EAS mechanism and reaffirmed our support to further strengthening it. Prime Minister underlined India’s support for ASEAN centrality and called for ensuring a free, open and rules based Indo-Pacific. 

Prime Minister highlighted synergies of visions for Indo-Pacific between India and ASEAN, and underscored that ASEAN is the focal point of Quad’s vision.

Prime Minister also called for a cooperative approach to address global challenges including terrorism, climate change and resilient supply chains for essential items including food and medicines, and for energy security. He highlighted India’s steps in the area of climate change and our initiatives such as ISA, CDRI, LiFE and OSOWOG.

Leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues.

Maha DBT Portal | ‘महाडीबीटी’ मार्फत मिळणारा लाभ नाकारता येण्यासाठी; दोन महिन्यात व्यवस्था उपलब्ध करुन देणार

Maha DBT Portal | राज्य शासनामार्फत विविध योजनांच्या लाभार्थ्यांना ‘महाडीबीटी’ पोर्टलमार्फत (Maha DBT Portal) अनुदानाचे थेट हस्तांतरण करण्यात येते. मात्र एकदा मिळालेले अनुदान परत करण्यासंदर्भात व्यवस्था उपलब्ध नाही. त्यामुळे ज्यांना अनुदानाची आवश्यकता नाही त्यांना ते नाकारता येण्यासाठी दोन महिन्यात व्यवस्था उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार (DCM Ajit Pawar)  यांनी विधानपरिषदेत (Vidhanparishad) या प्रश्नी उपस्थित केलेल्या लक्षवेधीला उत्तर देताना दिली. उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार म्हणाले, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi)  यांनी ‘एलपीजी’ सिलेंडरचे अनुदान (LPG Cylinder Subsidy) नाकारण्यासाठी ‘पहल’ सुविधा निर्माण केली होती. या अंतर्गत अनुदानाची आवश्यकता नसणाऱ्या महाराष्ट्रातील 16 लाख 52 हजार लाभार्थ्यांनी आपले अनुदान नाकारले. या योजनेचे सर्वत्र कौतुक झाले. यामुळे एक वेगळा, चांगला पायंडा पडला. या योजनेत नाकारलेले अनुदान इतर गरजू आणि पात्र लाभार्थ्यांना मिळू शकते. राज्य शासनामार्फत विविध योजनांचे अनुदान ‘महाडीबीटी’ पोर्टलच्या माध्यमातून दिले जाते. मात्र ज्यांना अनुदानाची आवश्यकता नाही त्यांना अनुदान नाकारण्यासाठी कोणतीही व्यवस्था पोर्टलमध्ये नाही. या पार्श्वभूमीवर मुख्यमंत्री, उपमुख्यमंत्र्यांशी चर्चा करुन वित्त विभाग व माहिती तंत्रज्ञान विभागाशी समन्वय साधून अनुदान नाकारण्यासाठी सुविधा उपलब्ध करुन दिली जाईल. ही प्रक्रीया जलद गतीने राबवून येत्या दोन महिन्यात सुविधा उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी दिली.

“MERI MAATI MERA DESH” CAMPAIGN TO PAY TRIBUTE TO THE ‘VEERS’ WHO LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES FOR THE COUNTRY

Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, recently announced the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign during his Mann Ki Baat broadcast. This campaign aims to honour the brave freedom fighters and bravehearts who sacrificed their lives for the country. The campaign will include various programs across the country to remember the bravehearts (Veers). Shilaphalakams (memorial plaques) commemorating them will be installed in gram panchayats, close to Amrit Sarovars. This information was shared at a joint press conference held by Secretary, Information and Broadcasting and Department of Telecommunications, Shri Apurva Chandra; Secretary, Culture Shri Govind Mohan and Secretary, Youth Affairs, Smt. Meeta Rajivlochan  in New Delhi today. CEO, Prasar Bharti Shri Gourav Dwivedi was also present on the occasion.

Addressing the press conference, Shri Apurva Chandra said that Meri Maati Mera Desh will be the concluding programme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav which celebrates 75 years of India’s Independence. The nationwide campaign Har Ghar Tiranga organised last year was a roaring success and this year even a more ambitious programme ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ is being rolled out under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, he added. Sh. Apurva Chandra explained that installing Shilaphalakam as tribute to bravehearts, Mitti ka Naman and Veeron ka Vandan are the key components of the campaign Meri Maati Mera Desh.  Har Ghar Tiranga will also be organised this year but as an important component of Meri Maati Mera Desh, he added. The Secretary also highlighted the role of media in generating awareness about the campaign and taking it to every nook and corner of the country.

Secretary, Culture,Shri Govind Mohan  in his presentation informed that the campaign will feature programs like the establishment of Shilaphalakams dedicated to freedom fighters and security forces, as well as initiatives like Panch Pran Pledge, Vasudha Vandan, Veeron ka Vandan which venerates the gallant sacrifices of our bravehearts. Shilaphalakam  or Memorial plaques saluting the spirit of sacrifice of local bravehearts from the village, panchayat, block, town, city, municipality etc. are to be erected across urban and rural areas. It will have Prime Minister’s message with the names of those who have laid down their lives for the nation belonging to that region.

Sh Govind Mohan said that this campaign is the concluding event of  ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav,’ which began on 12th March, 2021, and has witnessed widespread public participation (Jan Bhagidari) with over 2 lakh programs organized across India. From 9th- 30th August, 2023, the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign will include programs at the village, and  block levels , by local urban bodies, as well as state and national level.

He further elaborated that an ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ will be conducted, carrying soil from all corners of the country in 7500 kalash to create an ‘Amrit Vatika’ in Delhi This ‘Amrit Vatika’ will symbolize the commitment to ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.

Giving further details, Culture Secretary said that to encourage mass participation (Jan Bhagidari), a website, https://merimaatimeradesh.gov.in, has been launched where people can upload selfies holding soil or an earthen lamp. By doing so, they take the pledge of Panch Pran, with focus to make India a developed country, eliminate the mentality of slavery, be proud of our rich heritage, uphold unity and solidarity, fulfill duties as citizens, and respect those who protect the nation. Once the pledge is taken, a digital certificate of participation can be downloaded from the website. Last year, “Har Ghar Tiranga” programme, became a grand success owing to participation of one and all. This year too, Har Ghar Tiranga will be celebrated between 13th -15th  August, 2023. Indians everywhere can hoist the national flag, click selfie with the Tiranga and upload on Har Ghar Tiranga website. (harghartiranga.com).

Secretary Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Smt. Meeta Rajivlochan  informed that the details of the nationwide campaign can be accessed on the portal https:// yuva.gov.in/meri_maati_mera_desh. Not only will the portal contain relevant information on various activities under Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign, the youth can also join the campaign through this portal by uploading their activities like selfies and planting of saplings on this website. She urged the youth to take part in the campaign with enthusiasm and to also engage all around them in the nation wide effort to pay tribute to our Bravehearts and our Motherland.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Prasar Bharti Shri Gourav Dwivedi gave the details of media coverage of Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign through Akashvani, Doordarshan and other digital platforms of Prasar Bharti.

The ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign will start on 9th August, with scheduled programs until Independence Day on 15thAugust,2023. Subsequent events will take place from  16th August , 2023 onwards at block, municipality/corporation, and state levels. The closing ceremony is scheduled for 30th August, 2023, on the Kartavya Path, New Delhi in the presence of dignitaries.

Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan | पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) यांनी नुकतेच त्यांच्या मन की बात (Man Ki Bat) प्रसारणादरम्यान ‘मेरी माटी मेरा देश’ मोहिमेची (Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan) घोषणा केली होती. देशासाठी बलिदान दिलेल्या शूर स्वातंत्र्यसैनिकांचा आणि शूरवीरांचा सन्मान करणे हा या मोहिमेचा उद्देश आहे. या मोहिमेत शूरवीरांच्या (वीर) स्मरणार्थ देशभरात विविध कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन केले जाणार आहे. त्यांच्या स्मृतिप्रीत्यर्थ अमृत सरोवरांजवळील ग्रामपंचायतींमध्ये शिलाफलक (स्मारक फलक) उभारले जातील. माहिती आणि प्रसारण तसेच दूरसंचार विभागाचे सचिव अपूर्व चंद्रा , सांस्कृतिक सचिव गोविंद मोहन आणि युवा व्यवहार सचिव मीता राजीवलोचन यांनी आज नवी दिल्लीत आयोजित संयुक्त पत्रकार परिषदेत ही माहिती दिली. यावेळी प्रसार भारतीचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी गौरव द्विवेदी देखील उपस्थित होते.

पत्रकार परिषदेला संबोधित करताना अपूर्व चंद्रा म्हणाले की, ‘मेरी माटी मेरा देश ‘ हा भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्याची 75 वर्षे साजरी करणाऱ्या स्वातंत्र्याच्या अमृत महोत्सवाचा समारोप कार्यक्रम असेल. गेल्या वर्षी आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या हर घर तिरंगा या देशव्यापी अभियानाला अभूतपूर्व यश मिळाले आणि यावर्षी स्वातंत्र्याच्या अमृत महोत्सवाअंतर्गत ‘मेरी माटी  मेरा देश’ हा आणखी एक महत्त्वाकांक्षी कार्यक्रम सुरु करण्यात येत आहे असे ते म्हणाले. शूरवीरांना आदरांजली म्हणून शिलाफलक बसवणे , मिट्टी का नमन आणि वीरों का वंदन हे मेरी माटी  मेरा देश या मोहिमेचे प्रमुख घटक असल्याचे अपूर्व चंद्रा यांनी स्पष्ट केले. मेरी माटी  मेरा देश या मोहिमेचा एक महत्त्वाचा घटक म्हणून या वर्षीही हर घर तिरंगा अभियान आयोजित केले जाईल असे ते पुढे म्हणाले. या मोहिमेबद्दल जागरूकता निर्माण करण्यात आणि ती देशाच्या कानाकोपऱ्यात नेण्यात माध्यमांची भूमिकाही त्यांनी अधोरेखित केली.

सांस्कृतिक सचिव गोविंद मोहन यांनी आपल्या सादरीकरणात माहिती देताना सांगितले की या मोहिमेमध्ये आपल्या शूरवीरांच्या बलिदानाला अभिवादन म्हणून स्वातंत्र्यसैनिक आणि सुरक्षा दलांना समर्पित शिलाफलकांची उभारणी तसेच पंच प्रण प्रतिज्ञा, वसुधा वंदन, वीरों का वंदन यांसारखे उपक्रम सादर केले जातील. वीरहृदयांची. गाव, पंचायत, गट, शहर, नगरपालिका क्षेत्रातील  स्थानिक शूरवीरांच्या त्यागाच्या भावनेला वंदन  करणारे शिलाफलक किंवा स्मारक फलक शहरी आणि ग्रामीण भागात उभारले जाणार आहेत. त्यामध्ये त्या भागातील ज्या शूरवीरांनी देशासाठी प्राणांची आहुती दिली त्यांच्या नावांबरोबर पंतप्रधानांचा संदेश असेल. ही मोहीम 12 मार्च 2021 रोजी सुरू झालेल्या ‘स्वातंत्र्याचा अमृत महोत्सव’ या विशेष आयोजनाच्या समारोपाचा कार्यक्रम आहे. या कार्यक्रमांतर्गत भारतभरात 2 लाखाहून अधिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. देशभरातील जनतेने यात व्यापक लोकसहभाग (जन भागीदारी) नोंदवला आहे, अशी माहिती गोविंद मोहन यांनी दिली. 9 ते 30 ऑगस्ट, 2023 दरम्यान, ‘मेरी माटी मेरा देश’ मोहिमेत गाव आणि गट स्तरावर स्थानिक शहरी संस्था तसेच राज्य आणि राष्ट्रीय स्तरावरील कार्यक्रमांचा समावेश असेल, असेही त्यांनी सांगितले.

दिल्लीत ‘अमृत वाटिका’ तयार करण्यासाठी देशाच्या कानाकोपऱ्यातून 7500 कलशांमध्ये माती घेऊन ‘अमृत कलश यात्रा’ काढण्यात येणार असून ही ‘अमृत वाटिका’ ‘एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत’ या वचनबद्धतेचे प्रतीक असेल, असेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.

जनसहभागाला प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी (जन भागीदारी) https://merimaatimeradesh.gov.in हे संकेतस्थळ सुरू करण्यात आले असून लोक माती किंवा मातीचा दिवा हाती धरून काढलेला सेल्फी या संकेतस्थळावर अपलोड करू शकतील, असे या मोहिमेबद्दल अधिक माहिती देताना सांस्कृतिक सचिवांनी सांगितले. या कृतीतून लोक भारताला विकसित देश बनवणे, गुलामगिरीची मानसिकता दूर करणे, आपल्या समृद्ध वारशाचा अभिमान बाळगणे, एकता आणि बंधुता टिकवून ठेवणे, नागरिकाची कर्तव्ये पार पाडणे आणि देशाचे रक्षण करणाऱ्यांप्रति आदर व्यक्त करणे यावर लक्ष केंद्रित करून पंच प्रणांची प्रतिकात्मक प्रतिज्ञा घेतात. अशा प्रकारे राष्ट्र प्रतिज्ञा घेतल्यानंतर सहभागाचे डिजिटल प्रमाणपत्र वेबसाइटवरून डाउनलोड केले जाऊ शकते. गेल्या वर्षी सर्वांच्या सहभागामुळे “हर घर तिरंगा”उपक्रम यशस्वी झाला होता. या वर्षी देखील, 13 ते 15 ऑगस्ट 2023 दरम्यान ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ उपक्रम साजरा केला जाणार आहे. भारतीय सर्वत्र राष्ट्रध्वज फडकावू शकतात आणि तिरंग्यासोबत सेल्फी काढून ‘हर घर तिरंगा’ संकेतस्थळावर अपलोड करू शकतात. या देशव्यापी मोहिमेचा तपशील https://yuva.gov.in/meri_maati_mera_desh या पोर्टलवर पाहता येईल, अशी माहिती युवा व्यवहार आणि क्रीडा मंत्रालयाच्या सचिव मीता राजीवलोचन यांनी दिली. पोर्टलवर केवळ ‘मेरी माटी मेरा देश’ मोहिमेतील विविध उपक्रमांची संबंधित माहिती नसून,तरूण या वेबसाइटवर सेल्फी आणि रोपे लावण्यासारखे उपक्रम अपलोड करून या पोर्टलद्वारे मोहिमेत सामील होऊ शकतात.  तरुणांनी या मोहिमेत उत्साहाने सहभागी होण्याचे तसेच आपल्या शूरवीरांना आणि आपल्या मातृभूमीला आदरांजली वाहण्यासाठी देशव्यापी कार्यक्रमात सहभागी होण्याचे आवाहन मीता राजीवलोचन यांनी केले.

प्रसार भारतीचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (CEO) गौरव द्विवेदी यांनी आकाशवाणी, दूरदर्शन आणि प्रसार भारतीच्या इतर डिजिटल व्यासपीठाद्वारे ‘मेरी माटी मेरा देश’ मोहिमेच्या प्रसारमाध्यमांवरच्या प्रसारणाची माहिती दिली.

‘मेरी माटी मेरा देश’ मोहीम 9 ऑगस्ट रोजी सुरू होईल आणि 15 ऑगस्ट 2023 रोजी स्वातंत्र्य दिनापर्यंत नियोजित कार्यक्रमांसह चालणार आहे. त्यानंतरचे कार्यक्रम 16 ऑगस्ट 2023 पासून गट, नगरपालिका/ नगरपरिषद आणि राज्य स्तरावर होतील. 30 ऑगस्ट 2023 रोजी मान्यवरांच्या उपस्थितीत कर्तव्य पथ, नवी दिल्ली येथे समारोप समारंभ होणार आहे.

Health Camp | ६ ऑगस्ट रोजी “विनामुल्य आरोग्य शिबीर” | सोमेश्वर फॉऊंडेशन चा उपक्रम

Health Camp | भारत देशाचे  पंतप्रधान, नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) तसेच महाराष्ट्र राज्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्री, देवेंद्रजी फडणवीस (DCM Devendra Fadnavis) यांची “स्वस्थ ग्राम – स्वस्थ भारत” या संकल्पना सर्वांसाठी प्रेरणादायी आहे. तसेच गिरीश महाजन यांचे “रुग्ण सेवा हिच ईश्वर सेवा” हे ब्रीदवाक्य घेऊन संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रातील गरजु व गरीब रुग्णांसाठी केले जाणारे सेवाकार्यसुध्दा समाजासाठी अतिशय मोलाचे आहे.
या पार्श्वभुमीवर गिरीशजी महाजन (Girish Mahajan) यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली शिवाजीनगर पुणे मतदारसंघातील गरजु रुग्णांच्या सेवेसाठी कार्यसम्राट आमदार विनायकजी निम्हण (Vinayak Nimhan) यांच्या जयंतीनिमीत्त सोमेश्वर फॉऊंउेशन (Someshwar Foundation), पुणे यांनी ०६ ऑगस्ट रोजी “विनामुल्य आरोग्य शिबीर” कृषी महाविद्यालय मैदान- भोसले नगर, शिवाजी नगर, पुणे येथे आयोजित केले आहे. अशी माहिती माजी नगरसेवका सनी निम्हण (Sunny Nimhan) यांनी पत्रकार परिषदेत दिली.  (Health Camp)

या शिबीराचा भाग म्हणुन रुग्णांसाठी दिनांक २२ जुलै ते ०४ ऑगस्ट २०२३ पर्यंत रुग्ण पुर्व तपासणी अभियान शिवाजी नगर मतदार संघात (शिवाजीनगर पासून सोमेश्वरवाडी,सुतारवाडी, बाणेर, बालेवाडी, इतर) सदर अभियानात एकुण ५७९६३ रुग्णांची पुर्व तपासणी करण्यात आली. व्दितीय रुग्ण तपासणी अभियानात आवश्यक रक्त, लघवी, ईसीजी, एक्स-रे इत्यादी प्रकारची तपासाणी मोफत करण्यात येत आहे.

PM Modi in Pune |The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi flagged off metro trains marking the inauguration of completed sections of Pune Metro today. He also handed over more than 1280 houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and more than 2650 PMAY houses constructed by Pune Municipal Corporation to the beneficiaries. He laid the foundation stone for around 1190 PMAY houses to be constructed by PCMC and over 6400 houses constructed by Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority. The Prime Minister also inaugurated a Waste to Energy Plant under PCMC developed at a cost of about Rs 300 crores.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that August is the month of celebrations and revolutions. Highlighting the contributions of Pune city in the freedom struggle, the Prime Minister said that the city has given numerous freedom fighters to the country including Bal Gangadhar Tilak. He also informed that today is the birth anniversary of the great Anna Bhau Sathe who was a social reformer and was inspired by the ideals of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. Even today, the Prime Minister informed that many students and academicians conduct research on his literary works, and his work and ideals are a source of inspiration for everyone.

“Pune is a vibrant city that gives momentum to the economy of the country and fulfills the dreams of the youth of the entire country. Today’s projects with about 15 thousand crore will further strengthen this identity”, the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister underlined the seriousness of the government about the quality of life of the urban middle class. Recalling the start of the Metro work five years ago, the Prime Minister said that the 24 km Metro network has already started functioning in this period.

Shri Modi emphasized the need to improve public transport infrastructure to improve the quality of life of people living in every city. Therefore, the Prime Minister said, the metro network is being expanded, new flyovers are being constructed, and emphasis is being laid on reducing the number of traffic lights. The Prime Minister informed that before 2014, the country had only 250 km of metro network and most of the metro lines were limited to Delhi whereas today, the metro network has gone beyond 800 km and work is already underway for 1000 km of new metro lines in the country. Before 2014, the Prime Minister informed, the metro network was limited to only 5 cities in India whereas today, the metro is functional in 20 cities including Pune, Nagpur and Mumbai where the network is being expanded. “The metro is becoming a new lifeline for the cities in modern India”, the Prime Minister remarked as he stressed the need for metro expansion to tackle climate change in a city like Pune.

Shri Modi emphasized the role of cleanliness in improving the quality of urban life. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, he said, is not limited to toilet access but waste management is also a big focus area. Mountains of garbage are being removed in mission mode. He explained the benefits of the Waste to Energy Plant under Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).

“The industrial development of Maharashtra has paved the way for the industrial development of India since independence”, the Prime Minister remarked. Highlighting the need to further industrial development in the state, the Prime Minister highlighted the unprecedented investments being made by the government in Maharashtra. He gave examples of the development of new expressways, railway routes and airports in the state. For the expansion of Railways, the Prime Minister informed that there has been a twelve-fold rise in expenditure when compared to before 2014. Various cities of Maharashtra are also connected to the economic hubs of neighboring states. The Prime Minister gave examples of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail which will benefit both Maharashtra and Gujarat, the Delhi-Mumbai Economic Corridor which will connect Maharashtra with Madhya Pradesh and other states in North India, National Dedicated Freight Corridor which will transform the rail connectivity between Maharashtra and North India, and transmission line network to connect the state with Chhattisgarh, Telangana, other neighboring states which will benefit the industries, oil and gas pipelines, Aurangabad Industrial City, Navi Mumbai Airport, and Shendra Bidkin Industrial Park. He said that such projects have the capacity to enthuse new energy into the economy of Maharashtra.

The Prime Minister said that the government is moving ahead with the mantra of the nation’s development through the state’s development. “When Maharashtra will develop, India will develop. When India will grow, Maharashtra will also reap benefits”, he said. Referring to India’s growing identity as the hub of innovation and startups, the Prime Minister informed that India has crossed 1 lakh startups compared to a few hundred 9 years ago. He credited the expansion of digital infrastructure for this success and praised Pune for its role in the foundation of India’s digital infrastructure. “Cheap data, affordable phones and Internet facilities reaching every village has strengthened the sector. India is among the countries with the fastest rollout of 5G services ”, he said. He continued that strides made by the youth in fintech, biotech and agritech are benefitting Pune.

 

The Prime Minister expressed concern for the consequences of political selfishness for Karnataka and Bengaluru. He also lamented the stalling of development in Karnataka and Rajasthan.

Shri Modi said that “to take the country forward, policies, intentions and rules (Niti Nishta and Niyam) are equally important.” This is a determining condition for development, he said. He informed that in the 10 years before 2014, only 8 lakh houses were constructed in two schemes of that time. More than 2 lakh such houses, including 50 thousand in Maharashtra, were rejected by the beneficiaries due to poor quality, he informed.

The Prime Minister underlined that the government started working with the right intention and changed the policy after coming to power in 2014. In the last 9 years, the Prime Minister informed that the government has constructed more than 4 crore pucca houses for the poor in villages and cities where more than 75 lakh houses have been built for the urban poor. He also highlighted the transparency introduced in the construction and the improvement in their quality. He also highlighted that for the first time in the country, most of the houses registered today are in the name of women. Noting that the cost of these houses is several lakh rupees, the Prime Minister emphasized that crores of women in the country have now become ‘lakhpatis’ in the last 9 years. The Prime Minister congratulated and conveyed his best wishes to all those who have found their new homes.

“Be it poor or middle-class family, to fulfill every dream is Modi’s guarantee”, he said. He underlined that the realization of one dream initiates the beginning of multiple resolutions and it becomes a driving force in that person’s life. “We care about your children, your present and your future generations”, he added.

Concluding the address, the Prime Minister quoted a Marathi saying and explained that it is the government’s endeavor to make not just a better today but an even better tomorrow as well. He said that the resolve to build a developed India is a manifestation of this feeling. Shri Modi emphasized the need to work together just like so many different parties that have come together with the same cause here in Maharashtra. “The aim is that better work can be done for Maharashtra with everyone’s participation, Maharashtra should develop at a faster pace” the Prime Minister concluded.

Governor of Maharashtra, Shri Ramesh Bais, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis and  Shri Ajit Pawar, and Ministers from Maharashtra Government were present on the occasion among others.

 

The Prime Minister flagged off Metro trains marking inauguration of services on completed sections of the two corridors of Pune Metro Phase I. These sections are from Phugewadi station to Civil Court station and Garware College station to Ruby Hall Clinic station. The foundation stone of the project was also laid by the Prime Minister in 2016. The new sections will connect important places of Pune city like Shivaji Nagar, Civil Court, Pune Municipal Corporation office, Pune RTO and Pune Railway Station. The inauguration is an important step towards realizing the vision of the Prime Minister to provide the citizens with modern and environment-friendly mass rapid urban transport systems across the country.

The design of some of the metro stations on the route draws inspiration from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan Metro Station and Deccan Gymkhana metro stations have a unique design resembling the headgear worn by soldiers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj – also known as ‘Mavala Pagadi’. The Shivaji Nagar underground Metro station has a distinctive design which reminds of the forts built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

A unique feature is that the Civil Court metro station is one of the deepest metro stations in the country, having the deepest point at 33.1 m. The station roof is made in such a manner that direct sunlight falls on the platform.

Moving ahead towards the mission of achieving Housing for All, the Prime Minister handed over more than 1280 houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by PCMC along with more than 2650 PMAY houses constructed by Pune Municipal Corporation. Further, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of around 1190 PMAY houses to be constructed by PCMC, and of over 6400 houses constructed by Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the Waste to Energy Plant under Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). Developed at a cost of about Rs 300 crores, it will use up about 2.5 lakh MT of waste annually to produce electricity.

Pune Metro | PM Modi Pune Tour |पुणे मेट्रोची (Pune Metro) पीसीएमसी ते फुगेवाडी व वनाझ ते गरवारे या मार्गिकेवर मागील वर्षी उदघाटन झाले.  उद्या पंतप्रधान (PM Naredra Modi) यांच्या हस्ते या दोन्ही मार्गिकांचा विस्तार केला जात आहे. या विस्तारित मार्गांमध्ये फुगेवाडी ते सिव्हिल कोर्ट आणि रुबी हॉल ते गरवारे या मार्गांचे लोकार्पण पंतप्रधान  नरेंद्र मोदी (Prime Minister Narendra Modi) यांच्या शुभहस्ते होत आहे. या नवीन मार्गाच्या लोकार्पणामुळे पीसीएमसी ते सिव्हिलकोर्ट आणि वनाझ ते रुबी हॉल या मार्गांवर प्रवास करणे शक्य होणार आहे. मेट्रोचे न्यूनतम भाडे १० रुपये असून अधिकतम भाडे ३५ रुपये असणार आहे. पीसीएमसी ते वनाझ असा प्रवास करण्यासाठी ४० मिनिटे लागणार आहेत आणि त्यासाठी ३५ रुपये भाडे लागेल तसेच पीसीएमसी ते रुबी हॉल यासाठी ३० रुपये भाडे असेल. वनाझ ते रुबी हॉल यासाठी ३५ रुपये भाडे असेल.
विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी भाड्यामधे ३०% सवलत असणार आहे. शनिवार रविवार सर्व नागरिकांसाठी ३०% सवलत असणार आहे तसेच मेट्रो कार्ड धारकांसाठी सरसकट १० % सवलत असणार आहे (मेट्रो कार्ड लवकरच विक्रीस उपलब्ध होणार आहे)

पंतप्रधान  नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या हस्ते फुगेवाडी ते सिव्हिल कोर्ट आणि गरवारे ते रुबी हॉल या मार्गांचे उद्घाटन झाल्यानंतर संध्याकाळी ५:०० वाजेपासून पीसीएमसी ते सिव्हिल कोर्ट व वनाज ते रुबी हॉल अशी थेट मेट्रो सेवा प्रवाशांसाठी सुरू होईल. सिव्हिल कोर्ट इंटरचेंजचे स्थानकाचा वापर करून पीसीएमसी ते वनाज, पीसीएमसी ते रुबी हॉल असा प्रवास करणे शक्य होईल.

पीसीएमसी ते सिव्हिल कोर्ट या मार्गवरील मेट्रोच्या सेवेची वारंवारता

मेट्रोचे तिकीट काढण्यासाठी विविध पर्याय उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आले आहेत रोख, क्रेडिट – डेबिट कार्ड डिजिटल वॉलेट, मेट्रो ॲप द्वारे तिकीट खरेदी करता येईल. तिकीट खिडकी, तिकीट वेंडिंग मशीन, व्हाट्सअप इत्यादी पद्धतीने तिकीट प्राप्त केले जाऊ शकते. पीएमपीएमएल द्वारा फीडर बस सेवेचा लाभ उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आला आहे त्याचा प्रवाशांनी लाभ घ्यावा. ३ कोचची ट्रेन असून त्यातील एक डब्बा महिलांसाठी राखीव आहे. दिव्यांगासाठी मेट्रो कोच मध्ये विशिष्ट जागा राखीव ठेवण्यात आली आहे. मेट्रो स्थानक व मेट्रो कोच मध्ये इमर्जन्सी हेल्प बटन ठेवण्यात आली आहे. त्यामाध्यमातून स्टेशन कंट्रोलरशी थेट संपर्क साधता येतो.

छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज यांच्यापासून प्रेरणा घेत मेट्रो रेल्वे मार्गावरील काही मेट्रो स्थानकांची रचना करण्यात आली आहे. छत्रपती संभाजी उद्यान मेट्रो स्थानक आणि डेक्कन जिमखाना मेट्रो स्थानकांची रचना ही छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या मावळ्यांनी परिधान केलेल्या पगडी सारखी म्हणजेच ज्याला “मावळा पगडी” देखील म्हटले जाते, या सारखी आहे. शिवाजी नगर भूमिगत मेट्रो स्थानकाची एक विशिष्ट रचना आहे जी छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांनी बांधलेल्या किल्ल्यांची आठवण करून देते.

आणखी एक वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे दिवाणी न्यायालय मेट्रो स्थानक. हे देशातील सर्वात खोलवर असलेल्या मेट्रो स्थानकांपैकी पैकी एक आहे, ज्याचा सर्वात खोल बिंदू 33.1 मीटर आहे. सूर्यप्रकाश थेट फलाटावर पडेल अशा पद्धतीने या स्थानकाचे छत बनवण्यात आले आहे.

पिंपरी चिंचवड महानगरपालिका (PCMC) अंतर्गत कचऱ्यापासून ऊर्जा निर्माण करणाऱ्या (वेस्ट टू एनर्जी) संयंत्राचे उद्घाटन पंतप्रधान करणार आहेत. सुमारे 300 कोटी रुपये खर्चून विकसित करण्यात आलेल्या या संयंत्राच्या माध्यमातून दरवर्षी सुमारे 2.5 लाख मेट्रिक टन कचरा वापरून वीज निर्मिती केली जाईल. (

सर्वांसाठी घरे या उद्दिष्टपूर्तीच्या ध्येयाकडे वाटचाल करत, प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजनेंतर्गत (PM Awas Yojana) पिंपरी चिंचवड महानगरपालिकेद्वारे बांधण्यात आलेली 1280 हून अधिक घरे पंतप्रधानांच्या हस्ते हस्तांतरीत करण्यात येणार आहेत. पुणे महापालिकेने प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजनेअंतर्गत बांधलेली 2650 हून अधिक घरे देखील पंतप्रधान हस्तांतरित करणार आहेत. त्यांनतर प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजनेअंतर्गत पिंपरी चिंचवड महानगरपालिकेद्वारे बांधण्यात येणार्‍या सुमारे 1190 घरांची आणि पुणे महानगर प्रदेश विकास प्राधिकरणाकडून बांधण्यात येणाऱ्या 6400 हून अधिक घरांची पायाभरणी देखील पंतप्रधानांच्या हस्ते होणार आहे.

पंतप्रधानांना लोकमान्य टिळक पुरस्कार प्रदान केला जाणार आहे. लोकमान्य टिळकांच्या परंपरेचा सन्मान म्हणून दिल्या जाणाऱ्या या पुरस्काराचा आरंभ टिळक स्मारक संस्थेने 1983 मध्ये केला. देशाची प्रगती आणि विकास यासाठी कार्य केलेल्या तसेच त्या बाबतीत उल्लेखनीय आणि विशेष योगदान देणाऱ्या व्यक्तींना हा पुरस्कार दिला जातो. लोकमान्य टिळकांची पुण्यतिथी म्हणजे 1 ऑगस्टला दरवर्षी हा पुरस्कार प्रदान केला जातो.

पंतप्रधान या पुरस्काराचे 41 वे मानकरी असतील. हा पुरस्कार मिळालेल्या दिगजांमध्ये डॉक्टर शंकर दयाळ शर्मा, प्रणव मुखर्जी, अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी, इंदिरा गांधी, मनमोहन सिंग, एन आर नारायण मूर्ती, डॉ. ई‌. श्रीधरन या व्यक्तींचा समावेश आहे.

Pune Metro | Chandrakant Patil |प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) यांच्या हस्ते मंगळवारी पुणे मेट्रोच्या (Pune Metro) फुगेवाडी ते सिव्हील कोर्ट (Fugewadi to civil Court Metro Route) आणि गरवारे कॉलेज ते रुबी हॉल मार्गिकेचे (Garvare college to Ruby hall Metro Route) लोकार्पण होत असल्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर राज्याचे उच्च व तंत्रशिक्षण मंत्री तथा जिल्ह्याचे पालकमंत्री चंद्रकांतदादा पाटील (Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil) यांनी रुबी हॉल, सिव्हिल कोर्ट आणि शिवाजी नगर मेट्रो स्थानकांची पाहणी केली आणि रुबी हॉल स्थानक ते शिवाजी नगर मेट्रो स्थानकादरम्यान प्रवासदेखील केला. यावेळी आमदार सिद्धार्थ शिरोळे, विभागीय आयुक्त सौरभ राव, मेट्रोचे व्यवस्थापकीय संचालक श्रावण हर्डीकर, पुणे महानगरपालिका आयुक्त विक्रम कुमार, जिल्हाधिकारी डॉ.राजेश देशमुख, मेट्रोचे कार्यकारी संचालक डॉ. हेमंत सोनवणे यांच्यासह मुरलीधर मोहोळ, राजेश पांडे आदी उपस्थित होते.

यावेळी पालकमंत्री श्री. पाटील म्हणाले, या दोन मार्गांमुळे पुणे आणि पिंपरी चिंचवड शहर जोडले जाणार असून पुणे शहरातील महत्वाच्या ठिकाणी प्रवासदेखील सुलभ होणार आहे. नवीन मार्ग शिवाजी नगर, सिव्हिल कोर्ट, आरटीओ, पुणे रेल्वेस्टेशन, पीएमसी, संभाजी उद्यान, डेक्कन इत्यादी महत्वाच्या भागांना जोडत असल्याने पुणेकर नागरिकांना याचा फायदा होणार आहे.

मेट्रो मार्गामुळे पुणेकरांना प्रवासाचा चांगला पर्याय उपलब्ध होणार असून शहरातील वाहतूक कोंडी दूर होण्यास मदत होईल. नागरिकांना मेट्रो स्थानकापर्यंत प्रवास करण्यासाठी इलेक्ट्रिक बस आणि पार्किंगची सुविधादेखील असणार आहे. त्यामुळे नागरिकांनी मेट्रोद्वारे प्रवास करावा, असे आवाहन त्यांनी केले.

श्री. पाटील यांनी मेट्रो चालविणाऱ्या महिला चालकाशी संवाद साधून त्यांचे अभिनंदन केले.

असा आहे मेट्रो मार्ग
पुणे मेट्रोच्या फुगेवाडी ते सिव्हील कोर्ट या ६.९ किलोमीटरच्या मार्गिकेवर ४ स्थानके आहेत, तर गरवारे कॉलेज ते रुबी हॉल या ४.७ किलोमीटरच्या मार्गिकेवर ७ स्थानके आहेत. अशाप्रकारे आतापर्यंत एकूण २१ स्थानकांसह २३.६६ किमी लांबीचा मेट्रो मार्ग पुणे आणि पिंपरी चिंचवड शहरात कार्यान्वित करण्यात आला आहे. यामुळे प्रवासाचा वेळ ५० टक्क्यांनी कमी होणार आहे. डेक्कन, शिवाजीनगर आणि पुणे महानगरपालिका येथे पीएमपीएमएल सेवेबरोबर समन्वय साधण्यात येणार आहे.

PM Awas Yojana | प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजनेची उत्पन्न मर्यादा आता ६ लाख!

| उत्पन्न मर्यादेत वाढ केल्याबद्दल मुख्यमंत्र्यांकडून प्रधानमंत्र्यांचे आभार

PM Awas Yojana | मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्र –एमएमआर (MMRDA) मध्ये आर्थिक दुर्बल घटकांसाठी (EWS) प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजनेतील (PM Awas Yojana) परवडणाऱ्या घरांसाठी (Affordable House) उत्पन्न मर्यादेत वाढ करण्याचा निर्णय केंद्र शासनाने घेतला आहे, उत्पन्नाची मर्यादा आता तीन लाखांवरुन सहा लाख रुपये करण्यात आली असून या निर्णयाबद्दल मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे (CM Eknath Shinde) यांनी प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (Prime Minister Narendra Modi)  आणि केंद्रीय गृहनिर्माण आणि शहरी कामकाज मंत्री हरदिप सिंह पुरी यांचे आभार मानले आहेत. या निर्णयामुळे म्हाडा, सिडकोच्या घरांसाठी अर्ज करणाऱ्या लाखो नागरिकांना दिलासा मिळाला असून सर्वसामान्यांचं हक्काच्या घराचं स्वप्न साकार होण्यास मदत होणार आहे. प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना (नागरी) अंतर्गत मुंबई महानगर क्षेत्रासाठी आर्थिक दुर्बल घटकांसठी उत्पन्नाचे निकष तीन लाखांवरून सहा लाख रुपये करण्याची विनंती मुख्यमंत्री श्री. शिंदे यांनी केंद्राकडे २१ जून २०२३ रोजी पत्राद्वारे केली होती, त्यानंतर उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी याचा पाठपुरावा केला. या विनंतीला केंद्राने सकारात्मक प्रतिसाद देऊन उत्पन्नाच्या निकषात वाढ केली असल्याचे राज्य शासनाला कळविले आहे.
