Prithviraj B P IAS – (The Karbhari News Service) –  पुणे महानगरपालिका अतिरिक्त महापालिका आयुक्त (ई) पदाचा (Pune Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner) पदभार  पृथ्वीराज बी.पी.  (Prithviraj B P IAS ) यांनी  डॉ. कुणाल खेमनार (Dr Kunal Khemnar IAS) यांचे कडून आज  स्वीकारला.

डॉ. कुणाल खेमनार यांनी पुष्पगुच्छ देऊन त्यांचे स्वागत केले. पुणे महानगरपालिका अतिरिक्त महापालिका आयुक्त (ई) पदाचा पदभार  पृथ्वीराज यांनी स्वीकारल्या नंतर, त्यांनी सांगितले कि, पुणे महानगर पालिकेत काम करण्याची उत्तम संधी मिळालेली आहे.  सगळ्यांना बरोबर घेऊन काम करणार आहे. पुणे महापालिकेत अतिरिक्त आयुक्त म्हणून काम पाहणारे डॉ कुणाल खेमनार (Dr Kunal Khemnar IAS) यांची बदली करण्यात आली आहे. त्यांच्या जागी राज्य सरकारने महापालिका अतिरिक्त आयुक्त पदी पृथ्वीराज बी पी (Prithviraj B P IAS) यांची नियुक्ती केली आहे.
डॉ खेमनार यांचा कालावधी पूर्ण होऊन बराच कालावधी झाला होता. अखेर सरकारने त्यांची बदली केली आहे. डॉ खेमनार यांची सरकारने साखर आयुक्त, पुणे या ठिकाणी बदली केली आहे. त्यामुळे डॉ खेमनार हे पुण्यातच राहणार आहेत. दरम्यान डॉ खेमनार यांची जागा रिक्त झाल्यानंतर राज्य सरकारने पुणे महापालिकेला तात्काळ नवीन अतिरिक्त आयुक्त दिले आहेत. सरकारने पृथ्वीराज बी पी यांची पुणे महापालिका अतिरिक्त आयुक्त पदी नियुक्ती केली आहे. पृथ्वीराज हे नागपूर स्मार्ट सिटी चे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून काम पाहत होते.

Transfer of IAS Dr. Kunal Khemnar! | Prithviraj BP is the new Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation

Prithviraj B P IAS | Dr Kunal Khemnar – (The Karbhari News Service) – Dr Kunal Khemnar (IAS) working as Additional Commissioner in Pune Municipal Corporation has been transferred. In his place, the state government has appointed Prithviraj B P IAS as Municipal Additional Commissioner.

Dr. Khemnar’s term had been completed for a long time. Finally, the government has transferred him. Dr. Khemnar has been transferred by the government as Commissioner of Sugar, Pune. So Dr. Khemnar will stay in Pune. During his tenure, Khemnar has worked to make the Municipal Corporation a pioneer by implementing many new ideas in the Solid Waste Department and Property Tax Department.

Meanwhile, after the vacancy of Dr. Khemnar, the state government has immediately appointed a new additional commissioner to the Pune Municipal Corporation. Government has appointed Prithviraj BP as Additional Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation. Prithviraj was working as the CEO of Nagpur Smart City.

दरम्यान डॉ खेमनार यांची जागा रिक्त झाल्यानंतर राज्य सरकारने पुणे महापालिकेला तात्काळ नवीन अतिरिक्त आयुक्त दिले आहेत. सरकारने पृथ्वीराज बी पी यांची पुणे महापालिका अतिरिक्त आयुक्त पदी नियुक्ती केली आहे. पृथ्वीराज हे नागपूर स्मार्ट सिटी चे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी म्हणून काम पाहत होते.

दरम्यान सरकारने नुकतीच महापालिका आयुक्त पदी डॉ राजेंद्र भोसले यांची नियुक्ती केली आहे. विक्रम कुमार यांच्या जागी डॉ भोसले यांना नियुक्त करण्यात आले आहे.

PEHEL 2024 Pune PMC | 53 tonnes of e-waste and plastic Waste accumulated in 4 hours

 PEHEL 2024 Pune PMC |  On behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and social organizations in the city, ‘PEHEL-2024’ city level e-waste and plastic collection campaign was implemented on Sunday.  53 tonnes of e-waste and plastic were collected.This information was given on behalf of Municipal Solid Waste Management Department (PMC Solid Waste Management Department).(Pune PMC News)
 On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sant Gadge Maharaj, Pune Municipal Corporation, Cummins India Foundation, KPIT, Purnam Ecovision Foundation and social organizations of Pune organized a city level e-waste and plastic collection campaign ‘PEHEL-2024’ on February 25 during Environment Week.  The campaign was inaugurated by the chief guest musician Dr.  Salil Kulkarni and Dr.  Dr. Kunal Khemnar, Pune Municipal Additional Commissioner.  It was held at Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Park.  (Pune Municipal Corporation Latest News)
 The program was graced by Deputy Commissioner Solid Waste Management Sandeep Kadam, Cummins India Foundation CSR Head Saujanya Veguru, KPIT CSR Head Tushar Juvekar, Aadar Poonawala Clean City Initiative Shri.  Malhar Karwande, Purnam Ecovision Foundation Director Atul Kshirsagar and CEO Dr.  Rajesh Manerikar, former corporator Madhuri Sahasrabuddhe, municipal assistant health officer Dr.  Ketaki Ghatge was present on this occasion.
 Around 1200 volunteers from different organizations, companies and colleges conducted public awareness experiments on 18th to 24th February, among all citizens under the campaign.  Public awareness through street plays, games, square meetings, leaflets were distributed.  A large number of e-waste and plastic was collected at 415 collection centers set up by volunteers during this campaign from 9 am to 1 pm with great response.
   A total of about 7500 people gave their household waste to the center through the campaign.  Around 53 tonnes of waste has been collected this time, including 40 tonnes of e-waste and 13 tonnes of plastic waste.  Recoverable computers and laptops from the collected e-waste will be repaired and delivered to the needy schools and students.  The remaining e-waste and plastic waste will be disposed of scientifically by government approved recyclers.  This was said on behalf of the solid waste department.

PEHEL 2024 Pune PMC | पुणे महापालिका (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) आणि शहरातील सामाजिक संस्थांच्या वतीने ‘पेहेल-२०२४’ हे (PEHEL 2024) शहर स्तरावरील ई-कचरा (E – Waste) आणि प्लॅस्टिक संकलन अभियान रविवार रोजी राबविले गेले. यात पुणेकरांनी 415 संकलन केंद्रावर 4 तासात 53 टन ई-कचरा आणि प्लॅस्टिक जमा केले. अशी माहिती महापालिका घनकचरा विभागाच्या (PMC Solid Waste Management Department) वतीने देण्यात आली. या कार्यक्रमाला घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन प्रमुख उपायुक्त  संदिप कदम कमिन्स इंडिया फाऊंडेशनच्या CSR प्रमुख  सौजन्या वेगुरु, केपीआयटीचे CSR प्रमुख  तुषार जुवेकर, आदर पूनावाला क्लीन सिटी इनिशिएटिव्हचे श्री. मल्हार करवंदे, पूर्णम इकोव्हिजन फाऊंडेशनचे संचालक अतुल क्षीरसागर व सीईओ डॉ. राजेश मणेरीकर, माजी नगरसेविका माधुरी सहस्रबुद्धे, मनपा सहाय्यक आरोग्यअधिकारी डॉ. केतकी घाटगे हे यावेळी उपस्थित होते.

वेगवेगळ्या संस्थांच्या, कंपनीच्या तसेच महाविद्यालयाच्या सुमारे १२०० स्वयंसेवकांनी १८ ते २४ फेब्रुवारी रोजी, लोकांमध्ये सर्व नागरिकांनी अभियानांतर्गत जनजागृतीचे प्रयोग केले. पथनाट्य, खेळातून जनजागृती, चौकसभा, पत्रक वाटप केले गेले. या अभियानात स्वयंसेवकांकडून उभारण्यात आलेल्या 415 संकलन केंद्रांवर सकाळी ९ ते दुपारी 1 या वेळेत उत्तम प्रतिसाद देत मोठ्या संख्येने ई-कचरा आणि प्लॅस्टिक जमा केले.

अभियानातून एकूण सुमारे ७५०० जणांनी आपल्या घरातील कचरा केंद्रावर दिला. यावेळी अंदाजे 53 टन कचरा संकलित झाला असून त्यामध्ये 40 टन ई-कचरा आणि 13 टन प्लॅस्टिक कचरा जमा झाला आहे. जमा झालेल्या ई- कचऱ्यातून दुरुस्त होण्यासारखे कॉम्प्युटर आणि लॅपटॉप दुरुस्त करून गरजू शाळा आणि विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत पोहोचवले जाणार आहेत. उर्वरित ई-कचरा आणि प्लॅस्टिक कचऱ्याचे शासनमान्य रिसायकलर्स द्वारे शास्त्रीय पद्धतीने विल्हेवाट लावली जाईल. असे घनकचरा विभागाच्या वतीने सांगण्यात आले.

 Daily Garbage Collection in Pune City (PMC Garbage Collection) 2200 to 2300 May.  Up to tons.  PMC Solid Waste Management Bylaws 2026 (PMC Solid Waste Management Bylaws 2026) has been issued by the central government to manage the solid waste generated on a daily basis.  As per the rules, it is mandatory to take action periodically at the regional office level to comply with various rules related to solid waste management.  This mainly includes various actions like plastic ban, chronic spot, atty spitting, open dumping, waste burning etc.  It is also necessary to implement Solid Waste Management Rules 2016 in newly included 34 villages.  (Pune PMC News)
  Daily site inspection is required for taking various actions.  For this there is not enough communication system available at field office level.  At present, the servants have to go to their two-wheelers to carry out operations so that operations are not carried out effectively and the head office also does not have vehicles available for carrying out large operations.
  A total of 18 vehicles, one for each regional office and three for the main department, will be purchased for taking action and it will be possible to effectively carry out various activities related to solid waste management at different levels in Pune city.  In the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan implemented by the central government, help will also be provided under this initiative to increase the rating of Pune city.  Also, if the vehicles are provided to the servants for action, their morale will increase and it will help the action to be carried out effectively and it will have positive results.  So the cars have been purchased.
 In order to carry out the penal action more effectively, a total of 18 special scod vehicles are being purchased through the solid waste management department of the Pune Municipal Corporation, 4 in the first phase and 14 in the second phase.  4 cars of the first phase were distributed today.  After that, the remaining 14 trains in the second phase will be distributed to the regional offices.  This time Dr.  Kunal Khemnar Additional Municipal Commissioner, Sandeep Kadam, Deputy Commissioner Solid Waste Management, Jayant Bhosekar, Deputy Commissioner Motor Vehicle Department, Prasad Katkar, Deputy Commissioner Circle No. 4, all municipal assistant commissioners, all senior health inspectors and all health inspectors were present.  Public awareness about solid waste management will also be created through these trains.  It will be possible to create awareness about the public cleanliness of the city, educate the citizens who violate the above rules and levy administrative charges in case of violation despite repeated notices.

 PMC Solid Waste Management Special Scod  Vehicle  | पुणे महापालिका (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) हद्दी मध्ये घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन नियमावली (PMC Solid Waste Management Bylaws) लागू करण्यात आली आहे. त्या अनुषंगाने विविध कारवाई करणेकरिता भरारी पथकाच्या दळणवळण साठी व दंडात्मक कारवाई अधिक प्रभावीपणे करण्यासाठी घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन विभागामार्फत 4 स्पेशल स्कॉड व्हेईकल (Special Scod vehicle) ची खरेदी करण्यात आली आहे. त्याचे वितरण आज महापालिका आयुक्तांच्या (Pune Municipal Corporation commissioner) हस्ते करण्यात आले. आगामी काळात अजून 14 गाड्या खरेदी करण्यात येणार आहेत. दरम्यान या गाड्या दंडात्मक कारवाई प्रभावीपणे करणाऱ्या ४ क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय म्हणजे हडपसर-मुंडवा क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय (PMC Hadapsar Mundhva Ward office), कोथरूड-बावधन क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय (PMC Kothrud Bavdhan Ward office),  नगररोड- वडगावशेरी क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय (PMC Nagarrod Vadgaonsheri Ward office) आणि  प्लास्टिक स्कॉड मुख्य मनपा भवन (Plastic Scod PMC bhavan) कार्यालय यांना देण्यात आल्या आहेत. अशी माहिती विभागाचे उपायुक्त संदीप कदम (Deputy Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation Sandip Kadam) यांनी दिली. पुणे शहरात दैनंदिन कचरा निर्मिती (PMC Garbage Collection) २२०० ते २३०० मे. टन पर्यंत होत आहे. दैनंदिन निर्माण होणाऱ्या घनकचऱ्याचे व्यवस्थापन करणेकरिता केंद्र ल शासनामार्फत घनकचरा हाताळणी नियमावली २०१६ (PMC Solid Waste Management Bylaws 2026) निर्गमित केले आहे. नियमावली नुसार घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन निगडीत विविध नियमांचे पालन करणेकरिता क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय स्तरावर वेळोवेळी कारवाई करणे अनिवार्य आहे. यामध्ये प्रामुख्याने प्लास्टिक बॅन, क्रॉनिक स्पॉट, अॅटी स्पिटिंग, ओपन डम्पिंग, वेस्ट बर्निंग इ स्वरूपाच्या विविध कारवाईचा समावेश आहे. तसेच नव्याने समाविष्ठ ३४ गावांमध्ये घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन नियमावली २०१६ ची अंमलबजावणी करणे आवश्यक आहे. विविध कारवाई करणेकरिता दैनंदिन स्थळ पाहणी करणे आवश्यक आहे. या करिता क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय स्तरावर दळणवळण करिता पुरेशी यंत्रणा उपलब्ध नाही. सद्यस्थितीत सेवकांना त्यांचेकडील दुचाकी वाहनावर जाऊन कारवाई करावी लागते जेणेकरून कारवाई प्रभावी रित्या होत नाही तसेच मुख्य खात्याकडे देखील मोठ्या कारवाया करणेकरिता वाहन उपलब्ध होत नाही.

 कारवाई करणेकरिता प्रत्येक क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयास एक व मुख्य खात्यास तीन असे एकूण १८ वाहन खरेदी करण्यात येणार असून पुणे शहरामध्ये विविध स्तरावर घनकचरा व्यवस्थापनाशी निगडीत विविध कारवाया प्रभावीपणे करणे शक्य होणार आहे. केंद्र शासनामार्फत राबविण्यात येणाऱ्या स्वच्छ भारत अभियान मध्ये देखील पुणे शहराचे मानांकन वाढविणे करिता या उपक्रमअंतर्गत मदत होणार आहे. तसेच सेवकांना कारवाई करिता वाहने उपलब्ध करून दिल्यास त्यांचे मनोबल वाढून कारवाई प्रभावी रित्या होणेस मदत होईल व त्याचे दुरोगामी चांगले परिणाम होतील. त्यामुळे गाड्यांची खरेदी करण्यात आली आहे.
दंडात्मक कारवाई अधिक प्रभावीपणे करणे करिता पुणे महानगरपालिकेच्या घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन विभागामार्फत पहिल्या टप्यात ४ व दुसऱ्या टप्यात १४ अश्या एकूण १८ स्पेशल स्कॉड व्हेईकल खरेदी करण्यात येत आहेत. पहिल्या टप्यातील ४ गाड्यांचे वितरण आज करण्यात आले. तद्नंतर दुसऱ्या टप्यातील उर्वरित १४ गाड्यांचे वितरण क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयांना करण्यात येईल. या वेळी डॉ. कुणाल खेमनार अतिरिक्त महापालिका आयुक्त, संदिप कदम, उप आयुक्त घनकचरा व्यवस्थापन, जयंत भोसेकर, उप आयुक्त मोटार वाहन विभाग, प्रसाद काटकर, उप आयुक्त परिमंडळ क्र ४, सर्व महापालिका सहाय्यक आयुक्त, सर्व वरिष्ठ आरोग्य निरीक्षक व सर्व आरोग्य निरीक्षक उपस्थित होते. या गाड्यांद्वारे घनकचरा व्यवस्थापनाबाबत जनजागृती सुद्धा करण्यात येणार आहे. शहराच्या सार्वजनिक स्वच्छतेबद्दल जनजागृती करणे, वरील नियमांचे उल्लंघन करणाऱ्या नागरिकांचे प्रबोधन करणे तसेच वारंवार सूचना देऊनही उल्लंघन होत असेल तर प्रशासकीय शुल्क आकारणे या बाबी अधिक प्रभावी करणे शक्य होणार आहे.

 Pune moves from 20th to 10th position in Swachh Survekshan’s All India Ranking

 Pune 10th Ranking |  Pune 5 Star City |  Due to the efforts made by the Pune Municipal Corporation regarding cleanliness, the city of Pune has now become 5 star.  Also, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) has got the 10th rank (Pune 10th Rank) in the Swachh Survey 2023 (Swachh Survey 2023) among cities with a population of more than 1 lakh.  Last year, Pune was ranked 20th.  Pune is at the 9th position among cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs.  So here in Maharashtra, Pune has come to the 2nd place (Pune 2nd Rank in Maharashtra).  Recently this award has been accepted by the Central Government on behalf of the Municipal Corporation.  This is considered a big achievement for Pune Municipality and Pune City.  (PMC Pune News)
 Pune city has earned the reputation as the best livable city in the country.  Also Pune city has got many titles like capital of education, cultural capital of the state.  Another reputation has been added to it.  Pune city has now become 5 star.  The Solid Waste Management Department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Solid Waste Management Department) was constantly striving for this.  Pune city was so far in 3 stars.  But now it has increased to 5 stars.  In this regard, a survey was conducted by the Center in the last week of September.  It included 20 different components such as door-to-door waste collection, waste sorting, etc.  The Municipal Corporation has made good progress in all these matters.  Therefore, the municipality has been able to get this book.  Pune Municipal Corporation will try to get 7 star and water plus rating in the coming time.  Municipal Corporation can be eligible for this after completion of water treatment plant works under JICA project.  (Pune PMC News)

 Meanwhile, the central government has recently given this certificate to Pune city.  Also, today i.e. 11th January, National Award was given to Pune Municipal Corporation.  In this, the ranking of the city in Swachh Survekshan is understood.  Accordingly, Pune has moved from 20th ranking to 10th position among cities with a population of more than 1 lakh.  Pune is at the 9th position among cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs.  So here in Maharashtra, Pune has come to the 2nd position.  Recently this award has been accepted by the Central Government on behalf of the Municipal Corporation.  The central government has invited only 3 cities from the state.  This includes the cities of Navi Mumbai, Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.  Pune Municipal Corporation is appreciating this.

Pune 10th Ranking | Pune 5 Star City | पुणे महापालिका स्वच्छतेबाबत  (Pune Municipal Corporation) करत असलेल्या प्रयत्नामुळे पुणे शहर आता 5 स्टार झाले आहे. तसेच पुणे महापालिकेला (PMC Pune) स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2023 (Swachh Survey 2023) मध्ये 1 लाखाहून अधिक लोकसंख्येच्या शहरात 10 वी रँक (Pune 10th Rank) मिळाली आहे. मागील वर्षी पुणे 20 व्या स्थानावर होते. तर 10 लाखांहून अधिक लोकसंख्येच्या शहरात पुणे 9 व्या स्थानावर आहे. तर इकडे महाराष्ट्रात पुणे 2 ऱ्या स्थानावर (Pune 2nd Rank in Maharashtra) आले आहे. नुकताच केंद्र सरकारकडून महापालिकेच्या वतीने हा पुरस्कार स्वीकारण्यात आला आहे. पुणे महापालिका आणि पुणे शहरासाठी ही मोठी उपलब्धी मानली जात आहे. देशातील राहण्यायोग्य सर्वोत्तम शहर म्हणून पुणे शहराचा नावलौकिक झाला आहे. तसेच विद्येचे माहेरघर, राज्याची सांस्कृतिक राजधानी अशी बरीच बिरुदे पुणे शहराला मिळाली आहेत. त्यात अजून एक नावलौकिकाची भर पडली आहे. पुणे शहर आता 5 स्टार झाले आहे. पुणे महापालिकेचा घनकचरा विभाग (PMC Solid Waste Management Department) यासाठी सातत्याने प्रयत्नशील होता. पुणे शहर आतापर्यंत 3 स्टार मधेच होते. मात्र आता यात वाढ होऊन ते 5 स्टार झाले आहे. याबाबत सप्टेंबर च्या शेवटच्या आठवड्यात केंद्राकडून सर्वे करण्यात आला होता. यामध्ये घरोघर कचरा जमा करणे, कचऱ्याचे वर्गीकरण करणे, अशा 20 विविध घटकांचा समावेश होता. या सर्व गोष्टीत महापालिकेने चांगली प्रगती केली आहे. त्यामुळे महापालिका हा ‘किताब मिळवू शकली आहे. पुणे महापालिका आगामी काळात 7 स्टार आणि वॉटर प्लस मानांकन मिळवण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करणार आहे. जायका प्रकल्प अंतर्गत जलशुद्धीकरण केंद्राची कामे पूर्ण झाल्यावर महापालिका यासाठी पात्र होऊ शकते. दरम्यान नुकतेच केंद्र सरकारकडून पुणे शहराला हे प्रमाणपत्र देण्यात आले आहे. तसेच आज म्हणजे 11 जानेवारीला पुणे महापालिकेला राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार दिला गेला. यामध्ये शहराची स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण मधील रँकिंग समजली आहे. त्यानुसार 1 लाखाहून अधिक लोकसंख्येच्या शहरात पुणे 20 व्या रँकिंग वरून 10 व्या स्थानावर आले आहे. तर 10 लाखांहून अधिक लोकसंख्येच्या शहरात पुणे 9 व्या स्थानावर आहे. तर इकडे महाराष्ट्रात पुणे 2 ऱ्या स्थानावर आले आहे. नुकताच केंद्र सरकारकडून महापालिकेच्या वतीने हा पुरस्कार स्वीकारण्यात आला आहे. केंद्र सरकारने  राज्यातून फक्त 3 शहरांनाच निमंत्रण दिले होते. यामध्ये नवी मुंबई, पुणे आणि पिंपरी चिंचवड शहराचा समावेश होता. पुणे महापालिकेचे याबाबत कौतुक होत आहे.

पुणे शहराला याआधीच  5 स्टार प्रमाणपत्र मिळाले आहे. त्यात आता रँकिंग देखील वाढली आहे. ही पुणे महापालिकेच्या दृष्टीने मोठी गोष्ट आहे. महापालिकेने केलेल्या चांगल्या कामगिरीवर केंद्र सरकारने मोहोर लावली आहे. मागील वर्षी पेक्षा खूप सुधारणा आपण केल्या आहेत. महापालिका आपल्या कामगिरीत अजून चांगल्या सुधारणा करणार आहे. आता आपण 7 स्टार आणि वॉटर प्लस साठी प्रयत्न करणार आहोत. तसेच शहर भारत भरात पहिल्या 3 मध्ये कसे राहील, याबाबत देखील प्रयत्न सुरु राहणार आहेत.

स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2023, (SS23), आपल्या पुणे महापालिकेला 5 स्टार सिटी प्रमाणपत्र मिळाले आहे. तसेच आता रँकिंग देखील कळली आहे. 20 वरून दहाव्या स्थानावर येणे आणि महाराष्ट्रात दुसऱ्या स्थानावर राहणे ही आमच्यासाठी खूप मोठी उपलब्धी आहे यात सर्वांचे मोलाचे योगदान आहे. मात्र आता आमची जबाबदारी वाढली आहे. आम्ही आता शहराला पहिल्या 5 मध्ये आणण्याचा प्रयत्न करू.
