 Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Junior Engineer (Civil) Promotion |  Promotion will be given to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Engineering Cadre from among the working Class 3 and Class 4 employees of the Pune Municipal Corporation establishment.  For that, according to the new rules, the employees will have to take the exam.  The municipal administration has prepared for it and the exam will be held on January 28, 2024.  But all the candidates had objected about this exam.  Accordingly, a petition was filed in the High Court.  The High Court has given relief to these candidates.  However, the municipal administration is adamant about conducting the exam.  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Junior Engineer (civil) promotion)
 A proposal to change the method, percentage and qualification of appointment of the posts of Executive Engineer, Deputy Engineer and Junior Engineer in the establishment of Pune Municipal Corporation was sent by the Municipal Commissioner to the State Government.  It has been recently approved by the state government.  Accordingly now junior engineers have been given 15% promotion instead of 25%.  Now the employees have to take the exam for that promotion.  Instead of 75%, 85% direct service will be recruited.  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)
 As soon as the proposal is accepted by the government, the administration has announced the exam date immediately.  However, candidates who have already qualified will be given a chance without asking for any new application.  These are 60 employees in class 3 and 4.  The administration said that this decision can be taken by the administration.  It is already delayed in promotion.  Calling for fresh applications will further delay the process.  Therefore, the first employees will be given a chance.  Meanwhile, preparations for this promotion had been started from 2021 by the municipal administration.  However, this promotion was delayed as only a few candidates messed it up.  Objections were also raised about people bringing degrees from abroad.  In that, the municipal administration took the position of conducting the examination without considering the seniority while giving promotion and sent the proposal to the government.  The government has revised and sent a new proposal.  Accordingly, this exam will now be conducted on the basis of the new rule.  (PMC Pune junior engineer civil)
 For promotion to the post of Junior Engineer (Architectural) 5 years experience and Degree or Diploma in Architecture is required.  Accordingly, this exam will be conducted on January 28.  This exam will be conducted in objective manner through English medium.  There will be 100 marks question paper.  45% marks are required to pass.
 In fact, only a few candidates were opposed to conducting such an examination.  However, they were very well taken care of.  Accordingly, these candidates had approached the High Court against the Municipal Corporation.  Accordingly, the court has given relief to these candidates.  The court said that the administration has no right to disqualify these candidates for promotion even if the candidates who filed the petition did not appear in the examination or failed in the examination.  This is considered as a relief to the candidates.  Also, the court said that the municipal corporation should not conduct the examination to avoid problems in this regard.  However, the municipal administration is adamant about conducting the exam.  We will not cancel the exam at any time.  The administration has said that.  The administration said that this is not the final decision of the court.  Some decisions are entrusted to us by the courts.  Accordingly we are going to conduct the exam.  Moreover, we are going to present our side well in the next hearing.

पुणे महापालिकेच्या (Pune Municipal Corporation) आस्थापनेवरील कार्यकारी अभियंता (Executive Engineer) , उप अभियंता (Deputy Engineer) तसेच कनिष्ठ अभियंता (Junior Engineer) या पदांच्या नेमणुकीची पद्धत, टक्केवारी आणि अर्हता बदलण्याचा प्रस्ताव महापालिका आयुक्त यांच्याकडून राज्य सरकारकडे पाठवण्यात आला होता. याला नुकतीच राज्य सरकारने मान्यता दिली आहे. त्यानुसार आता कनिष्ठ अभियंता यांना 25% च्या ऐवजी 15% पदोन्नती ठेवण्यात आली आहे. त्या पदोन्नती साठी आता कर्मचाऱ्यांना परीक्षा द्यावी लागणार आहे. तर 75% च्या ऐवजी 85% सरळसेवा भरती करण्यात येणार आहे. सरकारकडून प्रस्ताव मान्य होऊन आल्याबरोबर प्रशासनाने तात्काळ परीक्षेची तारीख जाहीर केली आहे. मात्र यात नवीन कुठले अर्ज न मागवता या आधीच पात्रता धारण केलेल्या उमेदवारांना संधी दिली जाणार आहे. वर्ग 3 आणि 4 मधील हे 60 कर्मचारी आहेत. प्रशासनाकडून सांगण्यात आले कि हा निर्णय प्रशासन घेऊ शकते. त्यात आधीच पदोन्नती देण्यात उशीर झाला आहे. नवीन अर्ज मागवले तर अजून प्रक्रिया लांबेल. त्यामुळे पहिल्याच कर्मचाऱ्यांना संधी दिली जाणार आहे. दरम्यान या पदोन्नती बाबत महापालिका प्रशासनाकडून 2021 पासूनच तयारी सुरु केली होती. मात्र काही उमेदवारांनीच यात खोडा घातल्याने ही पदोन्नती लांबत गेली. परराज्यातून पदवी आणणाऱ्या लोकांबाबत देखील आक्षेप घेतले गेले होते. त्यातच महापालिका प्रशासनाने पदोन्नती देताना सेवाज्येष्ठतेचा विचार न करता परीक्षा घेण्याची भूमिका घेतली आणि प्रस्ताव सरकारकडे पाठवला. सरकारने दुरुस्ती करून नवीन प्रस्ताव पाठवला आहे. त्यानुसार नवीन नियमाचा आधार घेऊन आता ही परीक्षा घेतली जाणार आहे. कनिष्ठ अभियंता (स्थापत्य) या पदावर पदोन्नती देण्यासाठी 5 वर्षाचा अनुभव आणि स्थापत्य ची पदवी किंवा पदविका असणे आवश्यक आहे. त्यानुसार 28 जानेवारीला ही परीक्षा घेतली जाणार आहे. ही परीक्षा इंग्रजी माध्यमातून वस्तुनिष्ठ पद्धतीने घेण्यात येणार आहे. 100 गुणाची प्रश्नपत्रिका असणार आहे. यात उत्तीर्ण होण्यासाठी 45% गुण मिळणे आवश्यक आहे.
खरे पाहता काही उमेदवारांनाच पाहिल्यापासूनच अशी परीक्षा घेण्याला विरोध होता. त्यांची मात्र चांगलीच गोची झाली होती. त्यानुसार या उमेदवारांनी महापालिकेच्या विरोधात उच्च न्यायालयात धाव घेतली होती. त्यानुसार न्यायालयाने या उमेदवारांना दिलासा दिला आहे. न्यायालयाने म्हटले आहे कि याचिका दाखल करणाऱ्या उमेदवारांनी परीक्षा दिली नाही किंवा परीक्षा देऊन ते त्यात नापास झाले तरी प्रशासनाला या उमेदवारांना पदोन्नती साठी अपात्र करण्याचा अधिकार नाही. हा उमेदवारांना दिलासा मानला जात आहे. तसेच याबाबतच्या अडचणी टाळण्यासाठी महापालिकेने परीक्षा घेऊ नये, असे कोर्टाने म्हटले आहे. असे असले तरी महापालिका प्रशासन मात्र परीक्षा घेण्यावर ठाम आहे. आम्ही ऐनवेळेला परीक्षा रद्द करणार नाही. असे प्रशासनाने म्हटले आहे. प्रशासनाकडून सांगण्यात आले कि हा काही कोर्टाचा अंतिम निर्णय नाही. काही निर्णय हे कोर्टाने आमच्यावर सोपवले आहेत. त्यानुसार आम्ही परीक्षा घेणार आहोत. शिवाय पुढील सुनावणी वेळी आम्ही आमची बाजू चांगल्या पद्धतीने मांडणार आहोत.

 According to the complaint, we are expected to find other technical reasons for insufficient water supply in the specified area and to eliminate them and to take strict action against illegal tap connections where more than one nest is taken.
 On January 9, 2024, citizens tried to complain about this through the ‘PMC CARE’ website, but the token number was not received and the complaint status is still “Registering”.  Citizens are suffering from the poor planning of the municipal corporation.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Water Supply Complaint | नगर रस्ता क्षेत्रीय कार्यालयांतर्गत (PMC Nagar Road Zonal office) येणाऱ्या सर्व्हे नंबर 48/3, क्रांती नगर, आनंद पार्क बस स्टॉप जवळ, वडगावशेरी पुणे (Wadgaonsheri Pune) या भागात, साधारण डिसेंबर 2023 पासून काही  घरांना अपुरा पाणीपुरवठा होत आहे. मुख्य वाहिनीपासून आतल्या बाजूस 10 ते 15 मीटर आत असणाऱ्या घरांना याचा प्रामुख्याने फटका बसत आहे. कमी झालेला पाण्याचा दाब हे याचं मुख्य कारण आहे. दरम्यान याबाबत नागरिकांनी PMC CARE वर तक्रारी करून देखील त्याची दखल घेतली जात नाही. अशा परिस्थितीत नागरिकांनी काय करायचे? असा प्रश्न उपस्थित होत आहे. वडगावशेरीतील सर्वे नंबर 48/3 आणि 4 या संपुर्ण भागात गुंठेवारी बांधकामांचं प्राबल्य आहे. कमी जागेत केलेल्या जास्तीच्या बांधकामांमुळे भाडेकरू ठेवण्याचे प्रमाण प्रचंड आहे व त्यामुळे पाण्याची गरज सतत वाढती आहे. या वाढत्या गरजेपोटी, स्थानिक प्लंबर्सना हाताशी धरून बेकायदेशीर नळजोडण्या घेण्याची पद्धत अगदी पहिल्यापासून जणु काही राजमान्यचं आहे. या वर्षीच्या कमी पावसामुळे आणि संभाव्य पाणीकपातीच्या शक्यतेने भाडेकरू लोकांना पाणी  कमी पडेल या भीतीने धास्तावलेल्या अनेक घरमालकांनी मागील दोन महिन्यात सर्रास बेकायदेशीर नळजोडण्या घेण्याचा सपाटा लावला आहे. या अचानकपणे वाढलेल्या नळ जोडण्यांमुळेच,  मुख्य वाहिनीपासून दूर असलेल्या निवडक घरांना पाणीटंचाईला तोंड देण्याची वेळ आलेली आहे.
विनिर्दिष्ट भागात अपुऱ्या पाणीपुरवठयाची इतर तांत्रिक कारणे शोधणे व ती नाहीशी करणे तसेच घरटी एकापेक्षा जास्त घेतलेल्या बेकायदेशीर नळ जोडण्यांवर कडक कारवाई करणे या गोष्टी नागरिकांना  तक्रारीच्या अनुषंगाने अपेक्षित आहेत.
9 जानेवारी 2024  या दिवशी ‘PMC CARE’ या संकेतस्थळाद्वारेही याबाबत नागरिकांनी  तक्रार करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला होता पण टोकन नंबर मिळाला नाही व तक्रार अवस्था ही अद्यापही  “Registering” अशी येत आहे. महापालिकेच्या ढिसाळ नियोजनाचा नागरिकांना असा फटका बसत आहे.

 What is the cost of one session of dialysis In PMC Pune Hospitals?  |  As a part of providing affordable facilities to the poor who cannot bear the burden of private hospitals, the Health Department of Pune Municipal Corporation has started dialysis facility at a low cost in its 8 clinics on PPP basis.  This facility is provided for just 400 rupees.  It has been 7 years, the municipality is providing this facility.  So far more than 71 thousand people have benefited from this service.  This information was given by Dr. Sanjeev Wavre Pune PMC, Assistant Health Officer of Pune Municipal Corporation.  (What is the cost of one session of dialysis In PMC Pune Hospitals?)
 On behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), a dialysis center was started in Kamla Nehru Hospital PMC for the first time in 2017.  This facility has been made available for only Rs 400 in the center done on PPP basis.  After seeing the response, the Municipal Corporation started this facility in 7 more hospitals.  But the need for this is still increasing.  Because the number of patients is also increasing.  (What is the actual cost of dialysis?)
 Changing lifestyle is the cause of the disease
 The reason for the increase in the number of patients is the changing lifestyle.  Increased urbanization.  Due to the change in people’s diet and increasing stress, common people are suffering from diabetes, blood pressure BP and hypertension.  As this disease remains the same for years, it directly affects the kidney (Kidney Damage).  These diseases have increased the rate of kidney failure in people.  Therefore, patients have to undergo dialysis treatment.

 Dr. Vavre said that some of these patients have to undergo dialysis treatment thrice a week, some people twice, and some people have to undergo this treatment several times a month.  Dialysis cost in private hospital is around 2500 rupees at a time.  The rate of dialysis treatment in a government hospital is Rs 1400 to Rs 1600 (Dialysis Cost in Government Hospital).  Poor people cannot afford these rates.  So Pune Municipal Corporation decided to provide this facility at a low cost.  Accordingly, this facility was started from the year 2017 for just 400 rupees.  PMC Health Card is provided to patients who have special Shahari Garib Yojana card (Pune Municipal Corporation Shahari Garib Yojana) for just 200 rupees.  This project was started on PPP principle.  Today this facility is running in 8 municipal hospitals.  This work has been given to NGOs.  Only the municipality gives them seats.  No rent is charged from them.  In some places, the municipality provides machines.  But in some places 100% machines belong to these institutions.  So far 71076 people have benefited from this in 8 centers of this municipality.  The number of centers will have to be increased in the future.  Dr Vavre also said.

 – Services at Kamala Nehru Hospital closed for a month
 Kamala Nehru Hospital Dialysis Center was initially started in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Kamala Nehru Hospital.  The Center has been entrusted to the Lions Club of Poona Mukundnagar Charitable Trust.  However, irregularities were found in the daily operations of the dialysis center run by this organization.  This was likely to affect the health of the patients, so the municipal administration blamed the Lions Club for not being able to run the centre.  An explanation was also sought from the organization.  But the organization had accused the municipal corporation itself.  Therefore, the Municipal Corporation has withdrawn the work from the organization.  So this center is closed for a month.  The Municipal Corporation has now started a new tender process.  This information was given by Dr. Vavre.

What is the cost of one session of dialysis In PMC Pune Hospitals? | खाजगी हॉस्पिटलचा भार सहन न करणाऱ्या गोरगरिबांना परवडणारी सुविधा देण्याचा भाग म्हणून पुणे महापालिकेच्या आरोग्य विभागाने (Health Department Pune Municipal Corporation) आपल्या 8 दवाखान्यात पीपीपी तत्वावर अल्प दरात डायलिसिस ची सुविधा सुरु केली आहे. अवघ्या 400 रुपयांत ही सुविधा दिली जाते. गेली 7 वर्ष झाले, महापालिका ही सुविधा देत आहे. या सेवेचा आतापर्यंत 71 हजार हून अधिक लोकांनी लाभ घेतला आहे.  अशी माहिती पुणे महापालिकेचे सहायक आरोग्य अधिकारी डॉ संजीव वावरे (Dr Sanjeev Wavre Pune PMC) यांनी दिली. पुणे महापालिकेच्या (Pune Municipal Corporation PMC) वतीने 2017 साली पहिल्यांदा कमला नेहरू हॉस्पिटलमध्ये (Kamla Nehru Hospital PMC) डायलिसिस सेंटर सुरु केले.   पीपीपी तत्वावर केलेल्या सेंटर मध्ये फक्त 400 रुपयांत ही सुविधा उपलब्ध करून दिली. याला मिळत असलेला प्रतिसाद पाहून मग महापालिकेने अजून 7 हॉस्पिटलमध्ये ही सुविधा सुरु केली. मात्र याची गरज अजून वाढतच आहे. कारण रुग्णाची संख्या देखील वाढत आहे. बदलती जीवनशैली हे आजाराचे कारण

रुग्णांची संख्या वाढण्याचे कारण म्हणजे बदलती जीवनशैली. वाढलेले शहरीकरण. लोकांच्या खाण्यात होत असलेला बदल आणि वाढता ताणतणाव यामुळे सर्रास लोक हे मधुमेह (Diabetes), रक्तदाब (Blood Pressure BP) आणि हायपरटेन्शन (Hypertension) या आजाराने ग्रस्त आहेत. हे आजार वर्षानुवर्षे तसेच राहिल्याने याचा थेट परिणाम किडनी (Kidney Damage) वर होतो. या आजारांमुळे लोकांचे किडनी निकामी होण्याचे प्रमाण वाढले आहे. त्यामुळे रुग्णांना डायलिसिस चा उपचार घ्यावा लागतो.

याबाबत डॉ वावरे यांनी सांगितले कि, यातील काही रुग्णांना आठवड्यातून तीनदा डायलिसिस चा उपचार घ्यावा लागतो, काही लोकांना दोनदा, तर काही लोकांना महिन्यातून बऱ्याच वेळा हा उपचार घ्यावा लागतो. डायलिसिस चा उपचार करण्यासाठी खाजगी हॉस्पिटलमध्ये एका वेळी 2500 रु च्या आसपास खर्च (Dialysis Cost in Private Hospital) येतो. सरकारी दवाखान्यात डायलिसिस उपचार करण्याचा दर हा 1400 रु ते 1600 रु (Dialysis Cost in Government Hospital) इतका आहे. हे दर गरीब लोकांना परवडत नाहीत. त्यामुळे मग पुणे महापालिकेने अल्प दरात ही सुविधा उपलब्ध करून देण्याचे ठरवले. त्यानुसार 2017 सालापासून अवघ्या 400 रुपयांत ही सुविधा सुरु करण्यात आली. विशेष शहरी गरीब योजनेचे (Pune Municipal Corporation Shahari Garib Yojana) कार्ड असणाऱ्या रुग्णांना फक्त 200 रुपयांत (PMC Health Card) ही सुविधा दिली जाते. पीपीपी तत्वावर हा प्रकल्प सुरु करण्यात आला. आज 8 मनपा दवाखान्यात ही सुविधा सुरु आहे. हे काम स्वयंसेवी संस्थांना देण्यात आले आहे. त्यांना फक्त महापालिका जागा देते. त्यांच्याकडून भाडे घेतले जात नाही. तर काही ठिकाणी महापालिका मशीन देते. मात्र काही ठिकाणी 100% मशीन या संस्थांच्याच आहेत. आतापर्यंत या महापालिकेच्या 8 सेंटर मध्ये 71063 लोकांनी याचा लाभ घेतला आहे. आगामी काळात सेंटर ची संख्या वाढवावी लागणार आहे. असेही डॉ वावरे यांनी सांगितले.

– कमला नेहरू हॉस्पिटलमधील सेवा महिन्याभरापासून बंद

पुणे महापालिकेच्या (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)) कमला नेहरू रुग्णालयात सुरुवातीला डायलिसिस सेंटर (Kamala Nehru Hospital DialysisCentre) सुरु करण्यात आले होते. हे सेंटर लायन्स क्लब ऑफ पूना मुकुंदनगर चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट या संस्थेला चालवण्यास देण्यात आले आहे. मात्र या संस्थेकडून चालवल्या जाणाऱ्या या डायलेसिस सेंटरमध्ये दैनंदिन कामकाजात अनियमितता आढळून आलेल्या होत्या. याचा परिणाम रुग्णांच्या आरोग्यावर होण्याची शक्यता निर्माण होत होती, त्यामुळे महापालिका प्रशासनाने लायन्स क्लब वर सेंटर चालवण्यास असमर्थ असल्याचा ठपका ठेवला होता. तसेच संस्थेकडून खुलासा देखील मागवला होता. मात्र संस्थेने महापालिकेवरच आरोप केले होते. त्यामुळे महापालिकेने संस्थेकडून काम काढून घेतले आहे. त्यामुळे महिन्याभरा पासून हे केंद्र बंद आहे. महापालिकेने आता नवीन टेंडर प्रक्रिया सुरु केली आहे. अशी माहिती डॉ वावरे यांनी दिली.

पुणे महापालिकेने आपल्या 8 दवाखान्यात नागरिकांसाठी अल्प दरात डायलिसीस उपचार सुविधा उपलब्ध करून दिली आहे. याचा जास्तीत जास्त नागरिकांनी लाभ घ्यावा. नागरिकांनी खाजगी रुग्णालयांवर अवलंबून न राहता महापालिकेच्या अल्प दरातील सेवेचा लाभ घ्यावा.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) | पुणे | महापालिका प्रशासनातील वरिष्ठांच्या कामकाजाच्या पद्धतीला महापालिका कर्मचारी आणि अधिकारी (PMC Employees and Officers) आता कंटाळले आहेत. नोकरीत जीवापाड मेहनत करून देखील आणि पात्र असतानाही हक्काची पदोन्नती (PMC Employees Promotion) लवकर दिली जात नाही. पदोन्नती संबंधित काही प्रक्रिया पूर्ण होतात. मात्र पुन्हा वरिष्ठ रुजू करण्याचा आदेश द्यायला टाळाटाळ करतात. यामुळे कर्मचारी त्रस्त झाले आहेत. चांगल्या काम करणाऱ्या अधिकारी आणि कर्मचाऱ्यांची यामुळे नैतिक घसरण (Moral Down) होत असल्याचे पाहायला मिळत आहे. प्रशासनातील वरिष्ठ आपल्या कामकाज पद्धतीत बदल करून कर्मचाऱ्यांना प्रोत्साहन देणार का, याबाबत महापालिका वर्तुळात दबक्या आवाजात चर्चा सुरु आहे. पुणे महापालिकेत (PMC Pune) झालेली सेवा आणि सेवाज्येष्ठता या आधारावर महापालिका कर्मचारी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांना पदोन्नती दिली जाते. पदोन्नतीने वरिष्ठ पद मिळतेच शिवाय पगारात देखील वाढ होत असते. हा अधिकारी आणि कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या नोकरीतील प्रतिष्ठेचा मुद्दा असतो. त्यामुळे करियर मध्ये पुढे जाण्यासाठी कर्मचारी पदोन्नतीची वाट पाहत असतात. मात्र गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून महापालिका कर्मचाऱ्यांना पदोन्नती देण्यात प्रशासनातील वरिष्ठ अधिकारी टाळाटाळ करत असल्याचे पाहायला मिळत आहे. विशेष म्हणजे यात ही दुजाभाव पाहायला मिळते. काही अधिकारी, कर्मचाऱ्यांना तात्काळ पदोन्नती मिळते. काहींना तर एकाच दिवशी शहर सुधारणा समिती आणि मुख्य सभा अशा दोन्ही समितीची मंजुरी मिळून पुढील दोन दिवसात संबंधित पदावर रुजू होण्याचा आदेश मिळतो. तर काहींना मात्र महोनमाहीने तरसत राहावे लागते. काही वेळेस पदोन्नती समितीची शिफारस, मुख्य सभेची मंजूरी मिळालेली असते. मात्र तरीही रुजू होण्याचा आदेश काही केल्या मिळत नाही. वरिष्ठांच्या या खेळात फक्त लेखनिकी संवर्गच नाही तर अभियांत्रिकी संवर्ग देखील भरडला जात आहे. काही आतल्या गोटातले अपवाद वगळले तर सर्वच संवर्गातील  कर्मचारी या त्रासातून जात आहेत. कधी कर्मचाऱ्यांची प्रकरणे राज्य सरकारकडे पाठवली जातात. कधी पदोन्नती देऊनही वर्षानुवर्षे त्यांना आदेशाविना ताटकळत ठेऊन आहे त्या ठिकाणी काम करायला लावले जाते. त्यामुळे वरिष्ठ आपला अहंकार बाजूला सारून आम्हाला आमचा हक्क कधी देणार, असा प्रश्न कर्मचारी विचारात आहेत. यामुळे कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या मानसिकतेवर मात्र परिणाम होत आहे. वरिष्ठांच्या अशा मानसिक जाचाला कंटाळल्याने कर्मचाऱ्यांची नैतिक घसरण होऊ लागली आहे. महापालिकेत येऊन फक्त पाट्या टाकुयात अशी धारणा कर्मचाऱ्यांची बनत चालली आहे. वास्तविक पाहता अति वरिष्ठ जेवढी महापालिकेची जबाबदारी सांभाळत असतात त्याहूनही किंबहुना जास्त जबाबदारी खालचे कर्मचारी आणि अधिकारी पार पाडत असतात. अशा कर्मचारी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांच्या कामाने संस्था उभी राहत असते. मात्र इथे वरिष्ठाकडून त्यांची उमेदच मारली जात आहे. पुणे महापालिकेला आणखी वरच्या स्थानावर घेऊन जाण्यासाठी वरिष्ठ आपला अंहकार बाजूला सारून आपल्याच कर्मचाऱ्यांना प्रोत्साहन देतील का? असा प्रश्न या निमित्ताने उपस्थित होत आहे.

 16.36 TMC water quota approved for Pune city
 PMC Pune Water Supply (PMC Pune Water Supply) is provided through the Pune Municipal Corporation to provide daily clean water to the population in proportion to the population within the city limits.  For this, the impure water is lifted from the project / dam under the jurisdiction of the Irrigation Department.  A total of 16.36 TMC of water quota has been approved for Pune Municipal Corporation limits of 11.6 TMC from Khadakwasla project, 0.34 TMC from Pavana river basin, and 2.67 TMC from Bhama Askhed project, 1.75 TMC for villages included in Pune Municipal Corporation.  As per the circular published by Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority (MWRRA) from time to time, the Pune Municipal Corporation has entered into an agreement with the Irrigation Department.  The water demand budget is submitted to the Irrigation Department during the prescribed period through the Pune Municipal Corporation and according to the water payment submitted by the Irrigation Department, the appropriate amount is paid by the Pune Municipality every year.  In this year’s water budget, only 12.82 TMC water quota has been approved.  (Pune Municipal Corporation Latest News)

 According to the letter given by the Pune Municipal Corporation to the Pune Irrigation Department regarding the industrial rate, the water demand has been recorded assuming the required LPCD for residential and non-residential buildings as per CPHEEO manual.  It does not propose water demand for process industries and industrial raw materials for the industrial component.  For the purpose of various types of water use, the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority has announced the Thok Jaldar at the end of June 2022, which includes domestic water use and industrial water use (processing industries and raw materials).  It is being done and for the process industries and raw materials in the industrial unit
